Not so highly valuable if they don't get the minutes they need to show case their skills. I mean, you answered yourself already. If they do want Heywood for long term, and trade IT, why would they not go for Fultz and instead get another SF?Both of which are highly valuable trade assets, not to mention the future BKN + LAL/SAC & excess talent. Also, I would be shocked if Hayward isn't part of the long-term future. I expect him to be the young veteran leader/2nd coach, IT to get traded by the deadline, & the FO to attempt to move Horford while continuing to stockpile assets for the next available superstar.
