Undisputed HATES Gordo going to the Celtics. Claims big mistake

Great takes on Gordo. They believe he made a BIG MISTAKE and could regret everything. They'd take Kevin Love, George, Butler, and even Milsap any day over Gordo.

Go to 2:09 seconds for the second video. These will make you feel better a little bit.

100% correct. Hayward probably wouldn't even make th AS team in the west. While he's a great player i think a lot of us had homer vision with him being super star. He'll never be a Larry Bird or have a similar team in Boston as Bird, and I think he's going to see this within 2 years.

Again, I'm really really glad we didn't have to give him our 5-year MAX. That contract is for Rudy, or if somehow we just drafted a player better than Rudy. Gordon was not better than Rudy.

They have a point but Hayward will be an Allstar in the East. And if they'd take Love or Milsap over him then they are the homers.

Makes me feel a little better, but I still think they vastly underrate Hayward. I would take Hayward over Love in a heartbeat.

The national media don't respect Hayward as a player. I think it will be interesting to see if his production holds in a situation where the team isn't built around him.

Uggh, I dont want to watch this. I hate Undisputed/Bayless more than Hayward leaving Utah.

The analysis is decent. The Celtics see Hayward as the guy to bring them the ring. He won't alone. Personally, I have seen more out of Tatum in the summer league to convince me he could be that guy with Hayward being the second best player on the team than do I see Hayward being the second coming of Larry Bird. Isaiah Thomas is dancing now, but if I am the Celtics I agree that IT won't be that guy and paying him $180 million to be that guy means I am shooting for 2nd place in the East with or without the changes.

They are gutting the team...

Hayward probably isn't that guy...

Jaylen Brown will be their depth, but he will need to be paid in 2 years...

And NO ONE can get a deal done with Danny Ainge. If DL gets the sign and trade done, then it's because of Ainge's son politics, Hayturd/Bartlestain politics, and it will be in spite of Danny Ainge. The same Ainge that couldn't find a trade in the 2016 draft when he had 8 picks!!! He didn't sell any of those picks. He didn't sign any of them. He just drafted them and ruined kids dreams as they are not coming to Boston any time soon.

ESPN is such trash. Love is better than Hayward? smh. Trash.

I agree with them that Hayward may regret this later. Only makes sense to me that with IT being so ball dominant, GH won't have the ball in his hands as much as he did here. Maybe he likes not having the pressure of creating, but his stats, IMO, can't stay where they are in that situation.

Plus, IT is gonna want the max. Horford can re-up in 2020. How can they possibly keep that team together, not to mention with a half decent bench?

Maybe I'm just a homer, but it seems like he left a team where he could see the upward trajectory, for a team that after this year is a big question mark.

Oh, Hayward will get the ball; Brad Stevens will see to that. But then it gets touchy. Will others resent the coach's pet, just as some did in LA with Doc's son. Atmosphere may completely change if Boston is not winning at a high enough rate.

And with the Celtics already having won 53 without him, the assumption is probably 60 wins.

Those fans will turn on him quick, as soon as he has a slump. Even here he would have a bad game or two out of every 5 or 6; at least it seemed that way to me.

I'll be very interested to see if anyone gives him the 10 year player max. I think his game still has levels to improve, but that max is huge.

I don't think Hayward went into a better situation talent wise. They are going to drop at least two key pieces to bring him in, and will still deal with additional max type contracts next year, or risk losing players. Honestly, I don't like IT, and I think he will always hold that team back.

I do think he went into a better system for his skillset, and he will make the ASG/get more hype in Boston.

Video was mostly spot on.

Hayward will thrive in some aspects, but this isn't as clear a road as KD had.
This one could go south if Hayward doesn't deliver.

Bringing back Crowder almost makes me completely at peace with the situation.

We lost a player that didn't want to be here, for a player that probably doesn't want to be here, but will be forced too. He will be fun to watch though, and mix well with what we are trying to do.

I think the fans will love him, and he could really like playing here after a while. He could be a Booker type. He'll bring much needed energy and an edge to the line up.
