Utah Jazz forward Thabo Sefolosha is expected to undergo season-ending surgery on an MCL injury

Maybe our "karma" is that most everyone here, me included. Are always putting down our players. Lots of negative vibes around here. We talk trash constantly about our own... maybe??? Naw I'm not superstitious... or am I..
Every hardcore part of a fan base acts like us. Hell look at Spurs fans on their hardcore fan forums($purscuck). They're worse than us and they've got nothing to complain about for 20 years.

I'm surprised they are opting for surgery. I had a torn MCL once and the orthopedist said to go sit on a bar stool for six weeks. The knee was really stiff after the six weeks of hard drinking but eventually came around. The doc said it was an injury that did not heal any quicker or slower with surgery.

Thabo is a huge loss. He is leading the team in RPM and helped in a bunch of different lineups. Even if we wanted to make a hard push for the playoffs this injury might be the nail in the coffin.

I am surprised as well. Most MCL tears heal without surgery just fine. Unless there was some additional damage, like little bone chip ripped of with ligament attachment or something else.

This is a little bit of a bummer for the Jazz and a huge bummer for Thabo. He was playing so well. Advanced stats say he was our best or one of our best players this season. He was having the best season of his career, which is very rare at this age. Hopefully its something other players see.

I hope he has a speedy recovery and gets back to playing at the level he was this year, whether for us or someone else.
