What's new

Utah Jazz @ Indiana Pacers 2/24 5:30PM MST

favors first shot was a dunk. Dude has hops. He plays better D than Elson... Boxes out better than Elson... and doesnt jack up 15 ft jumpshots like Elson.. Not sure why hes not playing over elson

The ghost of Jerry Sloan is still very clearly coaching this team. Otherwise, why are Raja and Elson getting so many minutes?

CJ Miles is a homeless man's J.R. Smith at this point. What the hell happened to him? He actually played well last year's playoffs. He's regressed massively since then.

His stats are something special, don't think I've ever seen anything like this before:

07-08 .479 FG% .390 3pt%
08-08 .459 FG% .352 3pt%
09-10 .429 FG% .341 3pt%
10-11 .407 FG% .332 3pt%

This is like what happens when you give someone an F potential on NBA 2k11.

CJ Miles is a poor man's J.R. Smith. WTF happened to him? He actually played well last year's playoffs. He's regressed massively since then.

Aside from his abysmal play of late, he has had one of his best years. The problem is he's even more inconsistent than J.R. Smith.

The Jazz haven't looked this good on the defensive end in a long time.

Is there anyplace on the interwebs where you can watch the games anymore?

Oh, yeah. There aren't nearly as many anymore because the good ol' government is starting to crackdown on them hard. Check your messages.

i feel that now that this team isnt a "PG driven team"... more ppl will step it up and play better like tonight

d-who?

I'm glad that chunky primadonna is going to whine all the way to another Net's awful W/L record.

new beginnings for all jazz men and man crushes across utah.

I'm really liking d favors. A lot. He's going to be such a beast.

Happy for Col. Ty. This was a good win. Good D.

The team appears much happier. Anyone notice that? And we suddenly learned how to rebound/play defense...

When the Lakers beat us in the playoffs, it was because we didn't have the height. Now we have a few more pieces...

I had fun watching the game tonight...

Favors did a lot of little things very well tonight. He ran the floor, boxed out every time, showed really well on the pick and roll and most importantly played good post D.

Devin Harris is a very good player but the biggest key was the team D. Millsap, Jefferson and AK did most of the heavy lifting.

Can't believe how well Harris played for someone who clearly knows little about the Jazz system. It never felt like he had a plan on any of the offensive possessions, and yet, he was able to create something almost every time. Another thing I noticed was that everyone was playing with energy. I think that's directly linked to D-Will's absence. Don't get me wrong, Williams is an amazing player. But he often walks down the court, and expects to have complete control over the flow of the game. It is fine when he's playing well, but when he's not, the team stagnates and loses.

Favors looked good. He's young and, perhaps, unexceptional. But he doesn't look nearly as goofy as Fes, he plays smart, and he plays hard.

If the Jazz manage to add a quality wing, this team can be special.
