What's new

Utah Jazz @ New Orleans Pelicans -- Feb 5, 6pm MST

He was probably our best player for the first 10 games of the season. That's 1/8th of season. Not insignificant
You are correct. After that early burst, he’s been awful until recently. He looks to have settled down and is playing great basketball. Jazz are winning as a result.

Hood 12/14 4/4... If he is true to form he will go 25% for the rest of Feb.
No, actually it's the opposite. Hood's consistency issues usually arent game to game. He typically has long stretches of being hot or cold.

I think we may see him be a lot more consistent too because of how well the offense is clicking. He is still going to take some tough shots, but he's getting more looks in the rhythm of the offense. Tonight he had 4 or 6 points at the rim because of Rubio.

And you know who was on the floor while Rubio was good to start the year, then got hurt and Rubio got worse, but then came back and Rubio suddenly got better?

It's the guy people kept saying he couldnt play with cuz he missed some lob passes early in the year.

Rudy mother****ing Gobert.

**** our big 3 might be Rudy, Rubio, and Mitchell.

I started the year in love with Rubio then fell out of love, and falling back . I'm an emotional reck right now. Lol
Same. When we first traded for him I was here talking up the trade and really liked it. Then I felt he was basically a Shelvin Mack clone. Now hes doing the things I was boasting about when we first got him. Im not sure if he'll maintain being a scoring threat but I think his ability to facilitate and run the offense will remain consistent.

They may very well be involved in talks to trade him. He gets hurt (even in garbage time) and that goes away. I’d rather he gets a DNP and preserve any value he might still have.

Just sucks for Burks. He has missed so many games due to injury over the last few years, has always been ready to play and give max effort when called upon, and has never complained about his role on the team (or lack there of).
He just loves to play and often has not been able to.

If he is getting traded then I’m fine with his dnp. Otherwise it’s kind of a dick move to make him ride pine in a blowout win.

I agree with you completely.

He might not get traded, but I’m pretty sure this is why.

****, that is weird he didnt get in during garbage time. Didnt even notice that.

Ricky had a Bricky moment there in the first. Fortunately, he settled down. I don't understand why he keeps shooting after missing a couple. It's not like he's Steph Curry. It caused the Pels to get back in the game after it looked like it was going to be a blowout.
