What's new

Utah Jazz Summer League Topic

Wood has improved a lot in the offseason. Though his numbers last season weren't terrible for playing 8 minutes a game.

Lyles was forcing things a little in the first half.

That's kind of the point of Summer League. Make Trey Lyles be the focal point of the offense and let him fail. You don't learn if you dont try new things. They arent playing these games to win, they are playing them to learn.

Play tibor at shooting guard.

To orchestrate the offense, yes, but to throw up a bad shot at the rim over a defender that got to his spot - pointless.

Ben Simmons is damn impressive. I think the Sixers finally got the superstar they've been tanking for years for.

Trey Lyles sorely needs to develop inside finishing ability. If he can't, he he's a role player. If he can, watch out.

Wallace can get a look most the time, I just never see him hit a shot.

A few of his shots were just plain ugly. Buy he doesn't have a problem putting the ball on the floor and driving. I wasn't paying attention to his defense - mainly studied Pleiss and Lyles.
