Does Lyles look any better on defense?
Lyles was forcing things a little in the first half.
Anyone see the shot of Rudy Gobert in the stands? He looks like he's been lifting. His arms looked bigger. Can't wait to see him tear down the rim next year.
That's kind of the point of Summer League. Make Trey Lyles be the focal point of the offense and let him fail. You don't learn if you dont try new things. They arent playing these games to win, they are playing them to learn.
To orchestrate the offense, yes, but to throw up a bad shot at the rim over a defender that got to his spot - pointless.
Trey Lyles sorely needs to develop inside finishing ability. If he can't, he he's a role player. If he can, watch out.
Wallace can get a look most the time, I just never see him hit a shot.
