some solid pwning.

and i'll still say... tinsley's creativity would mean more to me if he could run.... AT ALL. the guy wasn't at any point in the season physically able to move at a gait that one would call running. he basically jogged or walked all season, because that's all the guy has left. that's a problem. that also made him completely useless on the defensive end, which is a pretty big deal since that accounts for, ya know, half of all possessions in a game.

that's why, gun to my head, i take watson over tinsley. i realize that's a least of two evils thing, but at least earl is what he is.

Tinsley was pretty bad on defense laterally, as was post-injury Watson, but he ran from end to end just fine.

Defense is the only argument Watson supporters have to play him over Tinsley.

So, you're only talking about half the game, eh? Watson is very serviceable on defense, and Tinsley is a traffic cone. Also, defense is where we need to pick it up most.... So, what's your argument again? EW whined so your lil feelers got hurt? (oh, and there was that blistering 40% JT had).

Defense from the back-up PG isn't a huge thing. The things Tinsley brings to the team far outweigh the negatives he brings and the positives Earl brings.

Earl is better then Evans. For hell sakes Earl is even a better shooter then Evans the only things Evans is better at is rebounding, and blocking shots, being about 7-8 inches taller. If Evans could do anything that didn't require jumping he'd be in the rotation.

I don't get all the Watson hate. I like the way he plays. Sure, his shot sucks and he isn't the best point guard, but at least he plays hard and plays with heart. I'd rather watch that, than watch someone with a lot of talent mail it in.

I see your point. I just soured on EW after his whining. Carroll will be my choice for Round 3. Evans last longer for me because of his ability to energize the team and the crowd.

He is right about Evans. I love what Evans brings to the team. Its fun to watch and we are better with him. I can't wait til some room can be made and we see more of him.

check again. if you can show me a highlight where tinsley runs in a full gallop, you win. the guy is not capalbe of sprinting anymore. that's why whenever he got beat, he knew there was going to be no chance of recovering and he either fouled from behind or just yelled "help."

don't get me wrong, though, i wouldn't vote for tinsley right now either. IMO, the next most expendable jazz players are clearly carroll (d-league talent at a position where we have several far-better options) and jeremy (will struggle to ever play the 4 in the NBA, and plays behind our best guys). those two are redundant, tinsley and watson are not.

and i agree with ugli that giving up on murph right now just seems silly.
