We've Got Competition for the Tank

Phoenix traded Caron Butler to the Bucks for two pet rocks. It looks like Horny and the Suns are in full Andrew Wiggins sweepstakes mode. The Jazz will have stiff competition for who hits bottom first.

Nah the Sixers are the gatekeepers. And there's no outtanking the gatekeeper.

You missed the most important part of that trade. This move is to be able to waive Michael Beasley.

We were going to be better than Phoenix anyway. This just gives the Bucks more Ws, which is good for us.

Philly, Orlando, and Phoenix will be really hard to out tank. Though, I wonder if fans of other teams say the same thing about the Jazz?

Honestly correct me if I'm wrong, but the draft is Wiggins/Parker/Randle, so a team must win the lottery to get any of those. Is there much of a talent difference between the 4th-9th picks? If not then it really doesn't matter (though obviously one would like their choice of 4th-9th) I guess if one team is outtanking the other, other than the few extra ping pong balls in the hopper.

Still I want the Jazz to win, and I'm rooting for it. But more importantly, I want the young guys to play. If they are great, great, and if not the Jazz get a high pick in a loaded lottery. I know that's been parroted a thousand times, but it's true.

I think Exum will be in this draft, and could be more franchise altering than Parker. The top 4 all look like superstars, while the top 10 all look like all stars.

It looks like we will have a star if we end up in the top 7.

Wiggins
Randle
Exum
Parker
Smart
Gordon
Andrew Harrison

(Not to mention the centers that we absolutely don't need)

We don't need to tank harder than we already are. Just develop our core guys, and the draft will be fine.

No worries, Jazz hold an ace card.

I think Philly and Phoenix will both be abysmall. Utah will be better than them. Stricly from the youth.
