China has a much larger standing army. But that is nothing a few well placed bomb wont fix.

I'm scared of how I should receive this post.

But, yes, the US has had a history of indiscriminately bombing the **** out of places.

well. it isnt about bombs and warfare.
the way things have been going china would attack the economy. and the computer infrastructure first.
cripple the whole us of a before a single shot is fired ;).

of course if its an old fashioned war just bring hardware and manpower and start shooting, it's a different story

I'm not syaing USA will defintly lose vs china.
but it might be a vietnam kinda thing

heck america cant even win a simple "war" on terror and drugs

I don't understand what you think could happen.
China could not threaten the US militarily for any logical purpose.
Economically, they have displaced a large part of our manufacturing base already.
Their impact in this area has probably peaked.
They are no longer even the low cost wage labor supplier.
Manufacturing jobs are shifting to other countries as China wages have risen.

That depends on the purpose of the war and what winning for each side means. To me if a U.S.A v. China war erupted teh American goal would be to end Chinese ability to challenge the U.S. for decades. Air superiority and bombing them to the stone age would accomplish that. I don't want their territory. Neither one would be able to occupy and control the other. The territories are simply to large and there are to many people.

Dirty capitalists, improving the quality of life for Chinese people so they can exploit workers in other countries only to eventually raise the quality of their life and move on to new victims.

Dude, you are straight up terrifying/ludicrous in this thread.

I'm not hoping for or wanting any of this. Just throwing around what ifs on bad world events. Why is that terrifying?

If I know NAOS, terrifying didn't mean frightening.. It meant idiotic.
Maybe I'm wrong...

Nah..

Nah..

If throwing around what ifs on a topic that interests me is idiotic then so be it.

China financed our last two wars and, still, our entire economic system was nearly killed. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say China won't fund our war against ... China.

Hahaha. If it came to war I bet that the U.S. would find a way to fight it.

I'll guarantee you this: if the US went to war at all costs with China, you would lose regardless of the military outcome. (actually, sorta like Iraq and Afghanistan, but super sized)
