Should we just go after Teague instead? He's two years younger, knows Quin and had a really good year. Just don't know how he is on defense.

I have a better idea.
D-Rose. He would settle for 15-17 m region.
If not my second pick is; Jrue Holiday. Teague comes after that.

If better means terrible, than sure, that's a better idea.

Check this.
We cant get the first 3 for sure.
Among the next 4, D-Rose is the best player. Just would be a risky pick. If you are too afraid of taking risks, you are right my idea is terrible.
Teague is more of a playmaker than rim attacker like Rose. And we need more a penetrator in our system than playmaker. We got Hayward remember? Our offense tends to get stuck at times which you can solve this only by attacking the rim. If your best penetrator is Hayward, there is a problem my friend.
I would also be down for Jrue. Hill is my last pick there. He is the oldest among them and as injury prone as Rose for years to come.

Edit: Oh i forgot to mention, money is not priority for him in this coming offseason. He wants to win!
Check this as well.

2nd Edit:
A good article. That solid organization might be either Jazz or Spurs imo.

Not a whole lot. I like the guy, but frankly, games like yesterday are the games one needs to play in pain through. I get sitting out the regular season, but the playoffs are where players earn their money.

Imagine if Hill's season was reversed and he was injured to start, then was carrying the team in the playoffs like he did a few games at the beginning of the season. The basketball gods cost him a bunch of green this season.

I'm lukewarm on hill, if only the crystal ball could tell us what his future health looks like.

Seriously. His toe ain't no joke. Will he recover? Seems like a guy who could actually last a while if the toe issue goes away.

Some of you guys need to go watch some Trey Burke re-runs.

And 2-way PGs don't grow on trees, so good luck finding a better player to replace him.

My bet is he'll end up signing a deal similar to the one Utah offered him to extend, and the whole injury problems could end up being a huge blessing if it stops someone from throwing ridiculous money at him.

And this not committed to the team stuff is trash. This is Hill's one and only shot at a big contract in this league. Absolutely nothing wrong with him deciding to keep his options open.

I think his value may have dropped since he passed up on our extension offer, and it's possible he regrets not locking in when he had the chance.

Disagree.

Ya but it's cy. I knew when I saw LOP post that hills value has decreased that cy would be posting saying that it went up lol.

He's still going to get paid, but nobody is giving him a 4 year max at this point. I don't think he lost anything by not signing, but his value is probably pretty close to what Utah offered him.

I'd be comfortable in the 14-16 million range. His demand for higher than that is a tad expensive given his injury riddled year. There is no question that he is the engine that makes us go at PG but what does it matter if he can't even stay on the court?

Why? I'd say a 31 year old suffering from lingering injuries lowers his value.

Because it shows how important he is to the team. We are meh without him but great with him. Hell, even when we have him and he is suffering from a bad toe, like in the first series, we are much better with him. Him being hurt only gave Dante more minutes to show how ineffective he is. If he got hurt and Dante showed a lot of promise, then it would lower his value. Exum didnt do that though, making it more important that we retain Hill as Exum is still a huge risk to ever pan out to a starting PG.

Brooklyn could easily give him a 4 year max.
