What will Boston do now?

Before someone freaks out and says that this belongs in General NBA (Cy, I'm looking at you), is there anyone that the Jazz should target from the Celtics?

With Rondo being out the rest of the year do you think they try for a PG (Mo, Tinsley or Watson) to try and help them get into the playoffs?

Do they go for a scoring Big to help with their offensive woes (Al)?

Is there anyone worth trading for on that roster?

Is it worth trying to get Rondo and rehab him?

In case anyone missed it:

"@WojYahooNBA: As Doris Burke reported, Rajon Rondo has torn the ACL in his right knee and will be lost for the season. Celtics are scheduling surgery."

Calm down it was a joke. The only players I would want is Sullinger or Bradley. But Boston isn't giving them away. I would do Al Jefferson for Paul Pierce.

Nobody. They likely want picks and youngsters for old players. Pass. That team is a mess.

Not necessarily endorsing it but if there was ever a time to get Rondo now would be it. His stock has dropped and Boston has to be thinking about blowing it up as they will miss the playoffs. Instead of asking for the kitchen sink they would probably now settle for the pantry. Yes it would still mean giving up either Kanter or Favors but don't think it would take many more additional pieces. Rondo will likely be 100% ready by the start of next season.

No thanks.

Maybe they go for a point but not a big. They have Sullinger who's starting now and obviously they're going to want to see what they have there.

I think they may want an expiring along with a first round pick, preferably a lotto pick. I can seen them taking Burks, Millsap and a first rounder for Rondo and salary fodder.

Jeff Green, Brandon Bass, and Courtney Lee are all good role players, and Boston may want to shed these longer-term contracts and start reloading for Rondo's return (similar to Chicago's path).

My guess is that expirings can nab those players (if you like their deals and fit).

Man, they're probably REALLY hating that KG contract right now. And Ainge is probably begging Pierce to pick a new team for himself.

Pierce to LAL (his hometown) + Raja (salary match)

Jefferson to Boston (expiring)

Pau to Utah

The Green signing has to be one of the most mind bottling signings evar.

Who else was going to give him that kind of money coming off mediocre seasons AND heart surgery???
