What's The Last Movie You’ve Seen?

View attachment 1677

It's a really, really unique and entertaining film. The main star also wrote it, shes so cute.

I'm not sure I'd call it entertaining. Loved the movie though. One of the best of the last couple years imo. And yeah, the chick's background is interesting. Without looking it up again, I think she went to Georgetown and graduated with a degree in Economics, maybe Finance...

Watched Expendables 2. It was actually good for what it was, a movie with big old names + big old explosions + 20 year old one liners = time that I can just shut off my brain and be mildly entertained.

It was an absolute popcorn flick... not that that is a bad thing.

How about listing the best movies we've seen ever. I don't think we need a new thread for that.

Here is mine, top 5 is good I think.

1) The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (Yep, this is who I am :), forgive me Tolkien)
2) 12 Angry Men (The old version)
3) The Green Mile
4) Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb
5) The Shawshank Redemption

I've had that Jai Ho dance on lock for years....but never actually saw the movie until today. Big fat MEH.

Yes.. 12 Angry Men.. and oldie but a goodie...

It's the only one on your list that I can watch it again and again and not really get bored... (not too emotionally taxing but it's interesting all the way through)

Those are some great ones right there. Picking a top 5 would be very difficult, but I'll just add a few that I really love.

A Clockwork Orange
2001: A Space Odyssey
Taxi Driver
Raging Bull
8 1/2
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
There Will Be Blood
No Country for Old Men
Apocalypse Now
American Beauty

I watched the old animated version of The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe last night. The animation is mediocre, but I love the story and I still enjoy the movie out of a sense of nostalgia.

It wasn't the last movie I saw, but I watched Hit and Run last week. I haven't laughed that hard during a movie since Jackass 3D. I don't know why Dax Shepard isn't in more movies, but I find him right up there with Seth Rogen. Plus, Dax wrote, directed, produced and was the lead actor.

If you like stupid comedies like Pine Express, I love you, Man, etc, you better see it. It was good.
