What's The Last Movie You’ve Seen?

Too get this back on track, I just watched Glengarry Glen Ross. Good movie. It's pretty low on excitement, but it's very well written and acted. Pretty funny too.

And the soundtrack is awesome. Some a dat jazz

Go watch 4 Christmases again. Great movie. Vacation is still #1 because it holds up so well. BUT, I laugh as much in 4 Christmases.

I have a rule that I'll give any movie a 30 minute shot, but I turn it off if it sucks after that unless there are other people present. I'm pretty sure 4 Christmases was victim of that rule. I haven't watched any Christmas movies this year though yet, so maybe I'll give it another shot.

Just watched 'The Long Goodbye'

It's a good flick and Elliot Gould is legit. Apparently, it preceded Chinatown by a year and it seemed very similar to me. I like Chinatown better, however.

Watched 'Panic'

Solid flick considering the size of the budget. William Macy is terrific, don't really care for neve campbell's acting, but she grew on me as the film went on (probably because she's really good looking). Script was fair and some so-so acting but that's to be expected for a low-budget film. Would be interesting to see this story with a larger budget (better cast, better director). Thought they did pretty well with the character relationships and development.

Just finished watching 'In the Name of the Father'

An absolutely incredible movie, and a very sad real-life event

"The Crash Reel"

Pretty good documentary about Kevin Pearce and traumatic brain injuries. We will never know if he could've dominated the way Shaun White did. Also good timing given Michael Schumacher's recent ski accident...

Good show..... tear jerker

The second The Hobbit movie.

Like I said to anyone else I've talked about it, this story was a 2 episodes series at most. AT MOST! It is darn ridiculous to make the Hobbit into 3 movies when you've finished the LOTR with 3.

But, the accuracy to the storyline is great aside a few promoting additions. But who the heck cares about'em. They have made the Bilbo Baggins character slightly braver than who he is in the tale. And the main dwarf's face looking like a normal man is pure parody. Another Dwarf too was good looking and the Elven lass fell in loooove with the handsome dwarf. What the fudge does a Wood elf want with the good looks of a Dwarf? If she is into him, it's because she can see into his pure soul. Instead, she is acting like a fan of the Blue-Jean magazine.

The Smaug scenes were pleasing to the eye. And the action was not too cheesy and stupid. Barable. I hope they make one hell of a War of the Five Armies. I'm high on the last one.

As a routine of my last 15 movie watch run, I've fallen asleep again a few times after the 10 minute break in the theater.

My record is from the movie "Eat, Pray, Love". I've slept and woke over 20 times.

In spite of being a die hard fantasy fiction fan and a dungeon master- storyteller, I do not try to evaluate the adaptation movies of fiction literature by the book, but the movie itself. Question is, did you enjoy the movie, or not? If you've enjoyed, then there's nothing to blabble about, don't you think?
