What's The Last Movie You’ve Seen?

Hail, Caesar! is just meh. Surprised it got %85 on RT. I would give it something around 6.

Hush. A Netflix original horror flick about a deaf girl who's terrorized by a masked (at first) man at her cabin in the middle of the woods. Solid enough. I'd give it a 7.1. A few moments that bothered me which if corrected probably would've brought it to about a 7.5 or so. It also felt a little lazy in its writing though there were a few good moments in which the protagonist's lack of hearing was used well in driving the plot. If that makes sense.

The Hateful Eight. Mediocre. Tarantino's worst film off the top of my head. Didn't really even fel Tarantino-ish. Roth trying to emulate Waltz felt cheesy too.

I hated it

If you're like me and you enjoy Asian movies as well as true-crime movies/series, then I think you'll love this Hong Kong movie English title "Port of Call", a true crime film that won a tonne of awards... Acting is top notch and it literally left me speechless by the end of it.

Capt. America Civil War...

Was pretty good the first 3/4, then that last 1/4 just made me fell asleep.... I dunno may be I was just tired, but yeah the ending was a bit too low key for me.

I've got tickets for Saturday. Hope I enjoy it all the way through.

For a department celebration, today we watched "Naked Gun" from 1988 (and ate pizza). I'm not much for comedies (I apparently have a different sense of humor than moviemakers), but it was fun to boo O.J. Simpson when he came on screen.

No sure when i will see this one but im very excited for it. Seems to be getting pretty positive reviews.

S'up bitches. Civil War was good. One Love is wrong. the last quarter was not boring, the emotional stakes are sky high and the ending is unconventional.

Let me explain:

The bad guy wins. I think most people expect the good guys to make up and come together to fight a common threat in a VS movie like this. Iron Man meets up with CA in the bunker and they make nice to duke it out with the 5 assassins, except nope they don't. oh ****

Admittedly, I love comic book movies as I am not a joyless hack. I love them all even though some are terribad like BVS.

1.) Winter Soldier
2.) Civil War
3.) GOTG
4.) Avengers 1
5.) Iron Man 1
6.) Ant Man
7.) Age of Ultron
8.) Iron Man 3
9.) The First Avenger
10.) Thor 1
11.) Thor 2
12.) Iron Man 2
13.) Hulk movie

my man mads always delivers, good not great revenge tale, although it does some things well, the problem I have is it doesn't really do anything new for this type of movie

I like them, but they are getting boring with how many they are pumping out. All the Marvel ones follow a really safe formula. I'd like to see them take some risk and get something more artistic down just for the sake of something different.

Just saw Captain America Civil War. Really liked it. The last quarter was not remotely boring. My feelings are conflicted, not about the movie itself but the civil war.

I have to agree with OL on this one. I mean the whole Iron Man/Bucky past reveal was cool and added to the story, but after the big Iron Man vs Captain America team fight it wasn't that great.

The only part I can say I really enjoyed more than the average Marvel movie were the Spiderman parts (including the major fight scene where Ant-Man and Spiderman where really the two best by far), which were awesome. Other than that it was just good, left me with pretty much the same feeling every other Marvel movie has left me with.

*not really a spoiler, but something that didn't happen that I wish did*
The movie would have been way better if someone died. Some sense of danger to the heroes needs to be added to the universe.
