I find Helen Mirren very attractive. I'm not saying I'd like to hit that or anything but for a woman of her age and with the whole silver hair, she carries herself in a way that is very attractive to me.
Why in God's name would I wanna keep writing about characters whose central preoccupation are weed and dick and fart jokes? I mean, ya gotta grow man. Don't you ever want anything more for yourself? I know this poor hapless son of a bitch does. I look into his sorry doe eyes and I just, I see a man crying out. He's crying out, "When Lord? When the **** can your servant ditch this foul-mouthed little chucklehead to whom I am a constant victim of his folly, so much so that it prevents him from ever getting to kiss a girl! ****! When, Lord when? WHENS GONNA BE MY TIME?"
Would you also defend the use of the n-word on the basis of "I wasn't using the word as a slight on those who are actually of african descent?"
Ya, doesn't really bother me given an appropriate audience, my white friends use the phrase "my n***a" as a term of endearment
There are some predictable audience effects that exist based upon the language that you use. Pretending otherwise is silly.
Carlin said something along the lines of, controlling words we use is akin to controlling people, because we think in words. But I understand "knowing your audience".
Although I am enjoying you treating our new 15 year old in exactly the way you were treated when you were 15. Boy did you complain.

I just like using those words.
Isn't a significant part of the "charm" of using those words that, as an act, it feels transgressive?
Where I'm going with this is, how much of the fact that you like to use them is intrinsically tied to the idea that they are taboo?
