I think the Jazz season went south at the all star break. Just prior to that the Jazz won 7 out of 8 games (7 in a row) including a big OT win at Dallas. Its only loss during the span was a 3 pointer to NO the night after the OT win in Dallas. Trey was in the rotation and was helping. During the all star break the team did not renew Erick Green's contract paving the way for Shelvin Mack and Trey doing real viscious pine. When the Jazz came back after the all star break they stumbled. The Mack trade makes sense particularly when there may have been other veteran trades brewing. I just have the feeling if they had resigned Green and let Trey be the backup point this would have been a playoff team.
