20 coming off 1 year leading a final 4 squad and the second starting in the NBA. Those 2 years are pretty big, no?
Exum will be fine. Happy to see him looking to assist the ball on his drives right out of the gate. Would like to see him as the Backup pg from day 1.

How did Exum & Burke do in the practice????

Both did pretty poorly but burke looks like he belongs and did quite a few things well.

Exum looked about a bad as he could look honestly

Somebody made the point that this could be the biggest crowd he's ever played in front of. If so, it could be part of the reason he struggled so much, but it's also part of the reason he simply isn't ready to be a NBA starter. Probably 20-25 minutes - which would still be a lot more than the older Burks got his entire first two seasons - lol. Again, nothing against him, it simply never has been a realistic scenario for him to start or play 30+.

First play of the scrimmage exum beat the defense and got to the baseline and kicked it out to trey in the corner who hit the three

That was his highlight. Awesome.

After listening to the interviews, I'm impressed with Exum's attitude. They asked him about his shooting struggles, he admitted he got a bit tired, but followed that by saying, but that's no excuse, we have an 82 game season coming up - I'll need to work on that. Excellent answer. Disappointed there was no Rudy interview.

I can't wait to see these guys in summer league.

I'd tend to agree with you here, but I'd be interested in your reasons and own analysis of Exum, PKM. What makes you believe he's going to be a stud?

With Exum shooting everything mega short, I have to hope/believe it's nerves.

I think so too but to be fair I killed Burke for that last summer.
