Who are the Dems going to run in 2020?

She is, in essence, a business woman, not just a celebrity. So that makes sense. I do not know much about her political views but her business experience would probably prepare her for the rigors of the presidency. I do think she is very fake though, and I don't think she is so universally liked as you imply. My wife used to be a big fan until Oprah came out and said "I am just like all of you", almost in tears, then proceeded to parade her personal trainer, and personal dietician, and 3 personal cooks out on stage to explain how Oprah worked her butt off to lose weight, while women like my wife and her friends actually had to work for it while taking care of families and without the money to pay for it like that. I have no doubt she would have some strong support however, she would likely carry the female vote in the country by a substantial margin at least.
 
Whoever it is would be smart to not get their name out there until the election is closer. The longer a name is out there the more time there is to smear that name.

This is pretty funny in light of all the lecturing Trump supporters have been doing about judging Trump based on biased media reports.

As if they have not formed their opinion of Hillary Clinton based on 20 years of the most aggressive and organized smear campaign in US history.

Anybody who would be exposed to that kind of money and fame would have a hard time not coming off out of touch. I still think overall she has a great heart, and does what she does for the right reasons. I wont hold it against her that she will occasionally make the mistake of coming off out of touch. Ive seen more than enough of her personality to give her the benefit of the doubt. I certainly trust her goodness over most peoples. Dont you think? She has spent a life time trying to do good in the world. Who cares abou that diet thing in the grand scheme of things, right?

Im just saying, Ive had enough of being fooled by lying *** politicians. I want a good person to lead us. Its beyond ****ing retard how bad this last election was and who we had to choose from. It makes no sense. The world has so more to offer. There are better people out there. They just arent able to run because of money reasons. We need to find a way to get them out there. I almost think we are there though with this social media stuff. We need to find a way to promote people without the need for millions of dollars.

Thats why I think that this time around, its going to inspire someone with a great heart to make a run at this. For all the ****ty things about Trump, he has proven that America just wants to elect a non career politician willing to give it to the people straight without all the BS. You have to give it to him for that. He broke the mold. He is the true first 3rd party to win.

I dont get it Gameface. You are a smart guy. Why in the hell do you keep trying to defend Hillary Clinton? She is ****ing garbage. She is as crooked as they come. Do you not do any research? Do you not connect the dots between her and her donors? You really think that banks and countries like Saudi Arabia are giving her millions of dollars because they love the sound of her voice? How niave are you?

Go listen to how Democratic crowds cheered for her as compared to how they cheered for Bernie Sanders. They absolutely loved Bernie Sanders. It wasnt even close. If you cant feel the difference between the two, you are extremely out of touch. He was a real person who connected with people. Hillary ****ing robbed him and the Democrats of who should have been the nominee. Straight up rigged the ****. Thats why the dems lost. Wake up bro. People didn't come out for her like they did for Obama. No one liked her or trusted her. Stop trying to defend her. Its pointless. Had Bernie won, the Dems would have won. End of story. A lot depends on who is selected to head the DNC and whether the nominating process will once again be stacked in favor of an establishment corporate candidate like Clinton or more open to an outside insurgent in the mold of Sanders.

The two leading candidates to head the DNC are corporate lobbyist Howard Dean and the much more progressive Keith Ellison from Minnesota. Ellison has the support of Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and Senate Minority leader Chuck Schumer and is the odds on favorite as of today.

Sanders has not ruled himself out of another run for the presidency, although a decision won’t be made until the summer of 2018 at the earliest. Other possible progressive candidates include Warren, Kamala Harris, and Julian Castro from Texas. Establishment possibilities include Cory Booker, Tim Kaine, and Andrew Cuomo.

Denying media bias is kinda dumb but you have convinced me that a lot of it was cause Trump actually said a couple of nasty things.

I'm done defending Hillary. The point made was that we're being lectured on not judging a person based on biased media depictions of him and yet here you are calling Hillary Clinton "as crooked as they come" yet she has never actually been caught doing anything illegally crooked. There have been many politicians who have been unbelievably crooked and been caught and gone to prison for it. Hillary is not on their level, yet people have said outright that she is the most crooked politician EVER. Give me a ****ing break. If you don't think you and others came to that conclusion because of 20 years of smear and propaganda you're...well, you're just as dumb as I think you are.

For the record I think I've been far more level-headed regarding these issues post-election.

BTW, I don't know why I wasn't being negged into the dirt while I was spouting of and ranting in the political thread leading up to the election. I fully expected at least a little neg-love when I'd post my angry rantings but I don't think I was one time.

Yeah she had help but it still takes a lot of work to lose weight. Being rich doesn't make that go away. Plus if Oprah is president she will probably give out free cars! Who knows she could show up to your neighborhood and start passing them out.

20 years of smear and propaganda? There isnt some conspiracy against her for no reason. She is the one who has built her track record.
