Spurs have another, larger option to guard Durant if Leonard ends up being a mismatch - Stephen Jackson.

The Spurs 2nd unit often times is Neal, Ginobili, Jackson at the 1, 2, and 3 respectively (or Parker, Ginobili, and Leonard or Jackson at the 3).

FWIW, Leonard did a fantastic job guarding Rudy Gay during the Spurs 4-0 thumping of Memphis in the regular season, and he did a solid job of guarding Durant as well (Spurs 2-1 over OKC in reg. season).

Ginobili didn't even play in that game, and an undersized Blair had his way with the OKC defense.

Here's the other game -

Although that was when the Spurs hadn't acquired Diaw, Jackson yet.

I don't want Spurs. I hate this team.

If Duncan win another title this year, more people will say that he is better than Malone.

Irrational

He is/was better than Malone. I guess the only argument you can really put forth is whether Duncan is a true power forward or center. Some tweener fun.

It's a good debate, Malone vs. Duncan. Duncan has hieght, Malone has power.
Can't bring the rings into this tough because Malone wasn't the one who was dealing with Micheal Jordan.

So ****ing hungover. Had like 20 beers last night. Eating half of a huge leftover hoagie right now at 7am. Was so hungry and my head's pounding. I may puke. Anyway, I had to log in. What four ****ing dip****s voted Miami? Can we please ban these scumbags? Onions and sweet peppers don't sit well in a hungover stomach.

My concern is really what if Westbrook shutdown Parker defensively?

...won't be able to do it....unless he denies him the ball, which is not his favorite pass time! Parker will get that pick and roll going and the Thunder will be TOAST! The execution of the Spurs offense is WAY TOO MUCH for the Thunder to deal with, too! Throw in the fact that the Thunder almost lead the league in turnovers, and I see a 5 game series, MAYBE!

....statistically, Malone has Duncan by a landslide, rebounds, points, assists, free throws, etc. Duncan has the titles. Malone was a forward, Duncan was always truly a center. No debate on that.

Don't laugh .. but I discovered a new drink only a week or so go. I was downing some coconut water (in preparation) and then drinking some martinis (I'm typically a bourbon guy, but company had requests). Anyway, I'll get to the point. I have started drinking rum and coconut water (as a ****** cocktail) and I have ZERO hangover .. no headaches, no sluggishness, nothing. Pretty damn cool, it is.

I use to hate the spurs with every fiber of my being, but after watching how well coached they are, how well they share, and just how much they perfect being a "team" how can you root against them? They are everything a basketball team is supposed to be. (Note: after seeing them flop the hatred is reignited for a sec, but goes away).

George seems like a Trevor Ariza type player, just with better shot selection. If you give him open looks, he will drain them and in transition he can dunk on anyone. He doesn't really to have any kind of advanced offensive feel or creating ability though.

And he can guard the best player on the floor, PG, SG, or SF.

....I don't think you can really be a true blue Jazz fan....and NOT be rooting for the Spurs to win the whole thing! They are what the Jazz hope to become and use to be during the Stockton and Malone era! They play the game the right way! Some don't think it to be beautiful....but how can watching hip hop basketball where teams make less than 40% of there shots, have more turnovers than assists and in general look like a bunch of chickens with there heads cut off running around the court be 'EXCITING?"

F****** stupid Hansborough is singlehandedly throwing away this game VS Heat. Why is he even there? Is he even an NBA level player?

F***!!!!

.....was watching the end of the golf most of the afternoon, much better viewing. What did he actually do that cost them the game???

Pacers were trailing by about 5 points start of 4th quarter. Pacers' bench was on VS Heat with LeBron on the floor. Collisons wheeling' & dealin' and served a couple of passes on Hansborough's lap.

All he needed to do on both occasions was go up strong and dunk them, but instead he just shuffle dhis feet and walked both times.

GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!
