I'm right there with you. Maybe I am still drinking Koolaid from summerleague 2012 stats.
Per 36 minutes.
PTS: 14.4 RBS: 12.2 Assists :1.9 Steals 1.7 Blocks:1.1

Its contract year for Kanter. He preformed big when he had to at Nike Hoops Summit, I think he will preform big now with his contract on the line.
 
I think Hayward will be the best player. I think Hood and Exum will be pleasant surprises. I think Favors will be most improved.
 
I voted for Burks. I am very high on him. Hope his well-deserved starting spot is given to no one else. I am not against a 6th man role with 30+ minutes tho.

This is what I would prefer for Burks tbh. Not a slight on his ability or talent at all. I just see his driving ability matching up well with Hood's perimeter game. That and he can burn other backups all night long.

Probably just the irrational Jazz fan in me, but I always go into seasons with rookies performances being played with 'house money' as it were. So any positives we get out of 'em that first season is gravy... It'd be different if they were the top pick in the whole draft probably. But I agree - I think both Exum and Hood should give us boosts at various points this season.

Favors has to be most improved for us to take a step forward, so I hope you're right.
 
I think we should continue to give the max to role players.

It's the only way we can take the Charlotte model and win championships.

The Spurs model of paying role players as role players and drafting well hasn't ever worked out. Duh

Unless you mean that he will play so poorly for the Mavericks that it will help propel the Jazz into a spot higher than them... you have selected unwisely...

Kaman, Hmm... have to give that one some thought.
