After KK2 (in mock honor of Kosta Koufos and Kyle Korver), I changed to GlassEater, because Millsap has been my favorite player and he's a great rebounder. But only a few know that "eating glass" is (or was) a slang term for getting a lot of rebounds. Surprising, because even Al Horton knows this term.

Well, I decided I wanted a cool new user name but couldn't think of one. So, I did what any idiot would do...I started a thread asking for suggestions. Oh yes, I received a lot of suggestions - almost all of them obscene.

So when Mo Williams was obtained, I became his chief defender against all the doubters. I think I made the statement that Salt Lake is going to become Mo's town. So Mo+Town+his number.

well you coulda just said you're from Detroit, or at least like the music...

but instead you gave us intellectual honesty at its best :-)

as far as my own name, it's based on a nickname I've had since I was a kid (moe, later lengthened to moeville - yeah, I know, who lengthens nicknames?)
I added the Illini part when I joined my first message board and I'm too lazy to change (and try to keep track of multiple names)

I wrote a book with a character called Edge. I started using the handle edgewriter years ago on other sites and when I joined Jazzfanz back in 05 I kept it.

In my subconscious you went from badass to pufta overnight.

(Not that there is anything wrong with that.)

You reminded me of the Monty Python Bruce sketch. I was going to post a link, but a good friend once wondered if that was a good idea as it could be offensive to some folk. Are you Australian, and is your name Bruce?

Then let me tell the real story behind my name.
Yes, I am from Detroit. And 16 is the number of years I served for capping the last person that called me "pufta."

It's pretty lame to come in this thread and comment on how someone else got their username and then not say anything about yours. What gives?

There is nothing to it...
I live in the Northeast quadrant of the US of A.
I have also used Moses, for Moses Malone, one of my all time fav players. He was a real badass glasseater.

Archie Moses is Adam Sandlers name in the movie Bullet Proof. For what ever reason in high school, I used to tell girls that was my name. No. I never got laied in high school.

You'd be surprised how untrue that stereotype is
If you are white, suburbian, and straight, liberal views are still in the minority, at least in New York State.

I bet I would be. There are even a few liberals in Utah outside of Salt Lake City.

Shortened from Utahboozer, which I initially chose back in 2005 when Carlos Boozer "played" basketball games for the Utah Jazz team. When that bitch *** left my team, I still kept the essence of the moniker, which was basically communicating that, yeah, I like drankin. And I'm a Utah boy.

Used the name online since at least '98. Just haven't changed it, unlike everyone here who changes every couple months. Just grow a pair and live with your decisions. I've considered just changing to my first and last name. That'd be the only thing I'd change to.

" jazz yapma" is a Turkish phrase which can be translated as "don't make (play) jazz"; which actually means "don't pretend to be the smartass and say what you wanna say directly"

I wrote this in another thread, and labeled as thread killer. I killed the thread indeed. This message posted after 10 days of my post.

When I signed up for this stupid site I didn't want anybody to know who I was. Joe is about the most anonymous name in the world so I typed that in, then I looked over on the kitchen table and there was a bag. Guess what was in it?
