What's new

Wizzington Washards at Utah Jazz: 25 Jan, 7:00 local

Kanter was amazing 11-13 in only 30 minutes. Spin moves, up and unders, hooks and 2 assists. Wow.

Hayward was back to playing like the 8 million dollar man. Hayward 5-14 from the field.

Burks was just amazing. I especially like that the young guys got time on the floor together and played really well.

By the way Wiggins is a flat out stud and my number one pick. He really is going to be terrific.

Kanter is so frustrating to me. One game he looks like a star, and next he looks like the second coming of Fes.

Come on, Kanter is playing very well since the Clippers game at 28th december. He just had two bad ones in a row against the T-Wovels, but everyone played like crap their. Maybe Kanter was frustrated, that he was not getting back to the starting lineup after outplaying Marvin since the Clippers game.

All of this.

Paul George was 6-18 from the field and 0-4 from three (Hayward was 2-3 from 3), Love was 4-12 from the field, Lillard was 5-17, Parsons was 5-16 from the field, etc. While I'm not saying that Hayward is any of these players, it is common for very good or better players to have lower percentage shooting nights. There is an ebb and flow to games over time and some are better than others in terms of shooting and other aspects of the game. I'm sure you realize that, right?

AS one of my coaches used to say: "that's why they call it an average."

The best part of the game for me was watching Corbin use the Kanter, Favors, Hayward, Burks, Burke lineup to essentially finish the game (save substituting RJ for Enes to guard against 3's). This is what we've all been wanting.

Of Course I realize anyone can have an off night. However, Hayward's stats for the season are way way down. He has three good games and everyone exclaims they are willing to give him 15 million a year. He was back to playing like a 8 million dollar player tonight, just like he has most of the season. As Core4 so elegantly put it, that is why they call it an average. Look I have learned to like Hayward. I was very upset when we took Hayward over George. But Hayward is much better than I ever thought he would be. I just don't think you pay him more than Favors.

I have literally seen no one say that he should get $15 million.

I have seen numerous people say you have to max him out or say match any offer. I believe that is 14 or 15 million. So maybe they literally didn't say 15 million, but it was implied.

27 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists

mother ****er

and idiots were saying he wasn't worth tanking for last week. He wasn't a franchise changer. Obviously he's going to have bad games. If those people actually watched him play they'd see that even when his shot isn't falling he attacking, and drawing fouls. THAT is what NBA allstars do.
