I always made sure all of my kids had a loaded gun, safety OFF of course, under their pillow every night from the time they were 3. That way I knew they were all safe all the time. Personally I think mental health issues need to be part of the discussion. Like maybe it's time we define the need to own excessive amounts of personal weaponry as some sort of mental disorder.
