Would anyone be upset if the Jazz selected...

Possibly. I barely watch Duke at all. I cant really comment about his defense, but it doesnt seem to be well regarded.

They were really bad defensively. Not sure how much is on Allen, but many of the scouting reports mention slow lateral movement... they did mention he slaps the floor as the opposing point guard brings up the ball... so there is that.

Well Allen had his best DBPM of his career this year, so it must not have been that bad.

Someone enlighten me more about the drama. Is it Draymond-style drama or AK-style drama? I can live with the former, not so much the latter.
I would've taken and would still take Bobby Portis over Trey Lyles also.

I'm thankful Utah got a lot of these guys to come in for close scrutiny - I'm confident they'll make the right decision

ask for a quick take, i'd take DiVincenzo and Brown before Allen, I'd take Allen in the 2nd if we can get him

He’s a hustler.

I like Donte because of his combination of shooting form, hustle, drive, smarts, and athleticism.

Grayson seems like a second round prospect to me because he often looked like a chucker. I watched Grayson more than I watched Donte in college just due to exposure but most nights I saw Grayson play I felt like he was trying to be something he wasn't as a go to guy. On occasion he was special though.

Its really hard for me to get excited about any of these prospects when we all know that DL will trade the pick and end up elsewhere in the draft

Just watched Allen in a loss against Virginia. Looks like one of his worst games of the year (and so it could be throwing me way off), but if what we'd get is anything like I saw, I'd have a hard time getting behind the pick. Aside from the poor shooting, he simply looked like a competent, intelligent ACC player -- but that's about it. And at 23 years old, I'd better be getting more than that. Saw a couple good defensive sequences, he ran the team adequately. His athleticism was fine, but certainly didn't jump off the screen. Basically nothing that made me think he's going to be much of a positive unless his shot is falling (and I think other draftees had their shots fall more often this year).

But I'm glad the Jazz see much more of him than I do. The matchup with Thomas yesterday was hopefully ideal to help see if there's really something there that will translate.
