Aldrich sucks bad
I'll say the same thing I said to Cyrone in a thread in NBA General: Since everything else the Thunder have done has worked out so well, they can be forgiven for taking Aldrich.
Aldrich sucks bad
Not me. I said he would never be able to get that ugly shot off in the NBA and wasn't worth a lottery pick. I've been wrong on a lot of other players, but not Aldrich.I remember when you all wanted that fool Cole Aldrich. That would have been an absolute WASTE.
He seems like a knucklehead.

Forever made me like Greg Monroe.
Here we go.... :
The Clippers have emerged as the fourth team involved in Dwight Howard trade negotiations with the Magic, Nets and Cavaliers.
Los Angeles would provide an additional first round pick in exchange for MarShon Brooks.
The Bobcats, Jazz and Wolves also could be in play for Brooks, reports Ken Berger.

Can we even trade our own pick next year since we didn`t have a first round pick this year and are not guaranteed to get the GS pick?
So, this is a question for everyone that doesn't want Brooks. How do you feel knowing that the Clippers offered up a lottery protected pick in order to get Brooks onto their team? Does that hurt or help the Clippers?

The Clippers haven't committed yet, so the Jazz still have a chance to sneak in and grab MarShon Brooks if they really wanted to.
Brooks averaged only 11 shots per game and made almost half of them with a 43% field goal percentage on the year. A very good three-point shooter despite his 31% from the three-point line. 12.6 pts, 3.6 rebs, 2.3 asts, one steal, one three per game last year and 76% from the free-throw line last year as a rookie.
Bell finally got bought-out, leaving Burks and Murphy at shooting-guard and getting Brooks would definitely help in my opinion.
Why does everybody think the Warriors are going to be bad next year? Their starting-five is going to be Curry, Thompson, Barnes, Lee, and Bogut. If they stay healthy and that is a big if, I think they are going to be pretty good and the Jazz would get a pick in the 15-22 range. I would trade the Golden State pick for Brooks, even though that isn't the popular opinion.
No thanks. Let's develop Burks, who is a better player. The only thing Brooks does better is three point shooting.
If Burks had played for the nets last year, he puts up just as good of numbers or better. Burks will put more pressure on defenses then Brooks. Burks is a slasher who will get to the line and has a good midrange game. Brooks is primarily a jump shooter.
I agree with those who have said No. And it has nothing to do with the summer league game.
We have a good young core at all postions EXCEPT PG. While I think Mo can start for several more years, that doesn't mean I'm not in favor of getting a good young PG. What I'd like to see happen is the Jazz draft or sign a PG next year and have him develop under Mo's mentorship, gradually increasing his PT until he's splitting time with Mo and then Williams assuming a Watson-type role.
Outside of that, we'll also need a tough 4/5 to assume Kanter's role as Kanter replaces Jefferson. And depending on what happens with Marvin Williams, we may need a big SF. Brooks might be a nice bench player, but I like Hayward and Burks more as wings.
