Honestly, we really could use a Mike Conley. Dude is fiery, not too old, and has the exact personality we need imo. He would take such a burden off the other guys in that sense; they wouldn't be looking around anymore in close games during a whistle. He'd grab the bull by the horns. I wanna give Exum a chance but is there any reason Conley can't play 31 minutes at the point with Exum playing 17 there and another handful or two at the two?

Exum will come back and provide killer dribble penetration before halfway through next season, he'll be able to throw Rudy enough good lobs that he will no longer be a liability on offense so much. All good

There have been Jazz players in that game in the last 20 years. It didn't change my mind then and it won't when one makes it.

There are endless examples of teams with worse individual talent being better at scoring. I am no expert, but there is something wrong with the offense.

I do agree that the offense being ran is a problem though. Maybe it's a problem due to the personnel? Maybe if the jazz had a #1 option that makes the oppositions defense bend and have to scramble to stop them our might look better?

Sure there probably some things that could be done to make the offense better with the current roster but imo getting a great scorer helps with scoring.

No. Rudy seems to have a bigger impact on the win-ability of a game than any other Jazz player. When Rudy's out, my expectation of winning a game goes down tremendously because our defense really suffers. If either Hayward, Favors, or Hood are out, I still feel like we have fighting chance because our defense should still be solid with Rudy and keep us in games.
