Trey Burke Is A Savage! He Got Jobbed In The National Championship And His Performance Against Kansas Was Nothing Short Of Legendary. Welcome To The Jazz! He Better Start From Day One!

He didn't know he was traded until the interview. I chalk up his reaction as being surprised and confused. The dude had spent several minutes working on his "Minnisota" speech and couldn't switch gears fast enough to sound enthused for Utah; seriously, I don't expect that kind of wit out of young BB player.
Honestly, I don't want to read much into it but you can't work on your Minnesota speech as any moderately educated person can't expect he will stay in Minnesota and likely will be traded. This along with his "Looking forward to play in Utah with Kyle Korver" slip then corrected in twitter by "I meant Gordon Heyward" means he's got no clue what's going on at all.
He definitely will have chip on his shoulder after slipping that much but he doesn't come across like too bright.

I am very ecxited about this draft. Looking back at history, the first point picked in each draft is good, the national player of the year is very good. (Jimmer excluded but he is out of position so not a good match) My one concern is his height. I came across this link showing that the average size of an NBA point is 6'1 so Trey at 6'0" is no big deal to me. I really liked his line saying height does not matter as much as reach and Trey is above average here. Once again we had out choice of PG and the argument between DWill and CP3 are mostly pointless I would be happy to have the same argument and outcome between Trey and MCW or CJM.

GODS he looks hot in a Jazz jersey *cream*

Corbin sounded like a giddy schoolgirl when talking about Trey on the radio interview with Locke. I wish the Rocky Mountain Review was still in existance.

Yeah, he sounded really excited. It might have been that his voice just sounded really clear though, as opposed his usual Kermit accent.

Jazz played their cards brilliantly. Some Sixers fans are pissed that we skipped over them to grab Burke.

Sixers are getting Carter-Williams to replace J'rue Holliday. Good luck with that.

Jazz had their choice of McCollum and Burke, and they took the player they wanted.

So bawse. **** man. I don't think Ill be able to go to sleep tonight.

Some posters were pointing out that the Jazz liked Gobert at 21. So in essence, the Jazz got Burke for 14 + 46 + some cash.

So... this selection confirms the path Jazz is planning to take? Core-5?

More like core 11. Favors, Kanter, Gorbet, Hayward, Burks, Burke, Evans, Carroll, Williams, Neto, McNeal.

GO JAZZ. DRINK the look-aid!!!!!

Jazz are lucky that McLemore fell to the Kings. Otherwise we might have traded out 14 + 21 + Burks to get Burke and...............Jimmer.

Yes they gambled and lost. I doubt they make that trade if they knew Burke and McCollum would both be gone. Now they have a historically bad shooting back court of Carter Williams and Evan Turner. They will be tanking hard for Wiggins after a few weeks.
