Here's my more balanced view on this...
Part of Devin's struggles are related to the way Ty is using him. The post-heavy structure of the starting lineup isn't well suited to his abilities. I understand the desire to put him out there, see how he adjusted, and hopefully keep his stock high.
But, at this point, there is a real chance his stock is as low as it can get. In other words, by simply waiting until the end of the season Harris's value might increase as an expiring contract. Once this becomes more-or-less the case, and the jazz aren't worried about the impressions of moving him to the second unit, I hope they do so -- and then institute more of an up-tempo PnR system that might actually revive him.

Lakers wont give up Bynum unless they got Howard. However, that deal would put the Jazz as title contenders

The Jazz would have to be idiots to make a trade involving Milsap at this point. There's nobody in the league that brings the same intangibles he does at his position.

if Watson continues to play well & Harris cant dig himself out as LAL gets desperate...

Stopped there. Everything below is moot since this deal is impossible.
whats not possible? if harris continues to blow & he's no use to us or others?
or impossible regarding the TPEs?
dammit... im just seeing that Odom's TPE 8.9M is less than Harris' 9.3M

The Lakers want Harris so lets at least try to get their 2013+ 1st round draft pick. If only Odom's TPE match up with Harris' contract

Just got done looking at the trade machine on ESPN and anyone else notice how there is nobody that will want Devin Harris?
Only team that would want him is the Lakers and they don't have anybody we want. And they also don't have anybody to trade to a 3rd team also.
All of the teams at the beginning of the season that I was looking at that didn't have an ideal PG now is outplaying Devin Harris. We are stuck with him.
Just remember we drafted Kosta Doufos over D. Jordan (Clippers) and Mario Chalmers (Heat). Yes I wanted them over Doufos during the draft. I was pissed.
Chalmers looks like a perfect role playing PG right now.
