That team is so damn sexy. As a fanbase on this board we don't deserve this. One of us has sinned too greatly. . .
 
One thing we could do is trade with Brooklyn during the draft but the trade won't go official until the moratorium:

Korver, #23 and our 2020 1st (protected)
for
Dinwiddie and #27

Brooklyn gets the money for a max free agent, a 2020 1st and move up in this draft. We get Dinwiddie but still have max cap space to pursue Tobias.

I think you'd probably have to involve a third time with cap space (Atlanta?) that would be willing to take on Crabbe/Korver for picks in that scenario.
 
Just trade Dante and favors for Conley. Mostly everyone should be happy. I'll be happy for Dante and favs to go to Grizzlies. I think it's a better fit for both of them. And jazz fans U can have your pg.

Sounds good to me! We'd also get rid of you in the process so that would be an added bonus.

Dude I was totally agreeing with you... Lowry and Steph were complete trash last night. Can’t believe Massai traded picks and young players for these old washed bums (green, Gasol, and one year of Kawhi) so short sighted. What a moron... why push in when GS still exists and Boston is building a super team.

C'mon man. You gotta have the foundation before you move for those guys.

Toronto built Lowry, Kawhi, Siakim and others before grabbing crucial old guy Gasol.

GS built Curry, Draymond, KD, Klay and others before adding Cousins.

Adding the old good vet before the foundation is not getting us to contention. Conley is not the missing piece. If we added a Tobias THEN added a Conley, I get it. Conley by himself is stupid.

I’m totally agreeing with you. Can’t believe Massai would push chips for Kahwi when he didn’t already have Gasol... and he was built around old man Kyle Lowry and developing talent Pascal Siakham... it was stupid dumb. All we have is Rudy, DM, Ingles, Royce, Jae... adding an all star level pg would be soooooo short sighted. We need Justise Winslow... he could play the McKinnie role for us.

For as much as you so desperately want it to be true, Conley was never an All Star.

We have a foundation. Yes, Conley takes us to where we need to be. We’re hitchhiking in Kansas, wanting to get to LA, and someone is going as far as San Bernardino, but we’re saying “**** that! Let’s just hitchhike to Topeka and I bet someone there would be going straight to LA!”
