Utah gets Thabeet and Hill or Lee for Jefferson. Utah saves about $7 million, can run a more uptempo style, and have two young prospects that they could build with as part of their future core. Thabeet may never be worthy of the #2 pick, but if they could turn him into Eaton Jr. that would be huge. Houston gets a low post presence that will allow Martin to create on the outside and be a solid frontline with Dalembert and Scola. Jefferson is not Pau Gasol, but he is a post presence and at a cheaper price.
