Monday Spurs VS Jazz 7 PM ET ---- Front row seat!

Burke is quietly improving, and showing himself to be a valuable piece to this team. Where are the haters now?

I was just pissed that he was taking all of Dante's minutes away at the beginning of the season. But now Dante is getting minutes and even starting. The fact that Burke is playing well is just icing on the cake.

But I'm actually starting to like Burke. He couldn't have handled the situation any better imo (the polar opposite of Kanter) and even insights into his personal life like actually wanting to play for Utah and win a championship with us is making him really grow on me.

That being said, even if he starts doing really well, I hope he continues to come off the bench and that Exum still gets his minutes. They both have a future with the Jazz imo, but Exum's development must not be impeded.

I've been on their forums trolling them since we met them in the playoffs in 2012.

They all know me, and hate me.

Apologies.

In all honesty though, I tried having honest discourse with them, and all the do is resort to Karl Malone insults and "HOW MANY RINGS U HEV" everytime they disagree. It's annoying as hell. Garbage forum.

They do have a nonfiltered forum though. Surprised to see the F word after a long time on an NBA forum. You have a potty mouth.

Perhaps Danny Green's days as a spur are counted. He is usually the target of Popovich's frustration. I feel bad for Duncan haha, Gobert just murdered him in the first quarter. Seems you had a lot of fun!

LoL @ Tony Parker walking towards Green on timeout with the look of "You're screwed bud."

Just one game...

But damn did we look good in it. Snyder deserves a lot of credit. These guys have really bought into his defensive and offensive philosophy. So much so that I hardly recognize this team anymore. They look like a damn playoff team.

Hi guys, I'm an Australian jazz fan that occasionally lurks forum boards like today.

I read the discussion about the comment calling the Spurs feral Mexicans and can confirm that over here it does only mean "south of the border" (usually from people in Sydney about people from Melbourne). It has no connotations in regard to any Mexican stereotypes here. Feral is even a fairly common good-natured dig at opposing teams fans.

Having said that, the dude probably should have been more aware of the board he was posting on, and that the term could come across quite differently on a US forum. Judging by the response here, I think this point has been soundly made to him.

I'm not one to make light of something someone may find offensive, but in this case, it was not said in a derogatory manner, although I can certainly understand how it was taken that way by some people.

......anyway guys, take it easy, keep the Jazz fire burning bright & remember that is absolutely normal & healthy to have a man-crush on Rudy.

While not a hater I had started to sour on him. His play the last couple games has been great and he is that scoring threat off the bench. Excellent move by Snyder. I truly hope burke keeps this up. Top 5, 0r 6?, in ppg off the bench since the change.

Not a Burke hater by any stretch but if you remember he went through a similar run at the end of pre-season where every shot he took looked like it was going in. As I mentioned earlier, he's taken 52 shots in the last 3 games. At the rate he's going he'll certainly take over Hayward's spot for most FGA's per game on the team. Don't think that's a recipe for long term success.

He's still a chucker. He is just in a role now on the bench where he can chuck because he is the #1 or #2 option when he is in play. He was and still is TERRIBLE if he chucks up shots when Kanter, Favors, and Hayward were on the court at the same time.

The tone for this win was set very early on with Rudy and Dante playing D. Did you notice Exum picking up TP near half court and keeping him under control? Cool.

Another commanding performance by the new Jazz, coulda easily have been a 20 point blowout, they were in control all the way.

Got to wondering last night about the Chicago game when the announcers were chatting about best games of the year. That win in early Jan in Chi was hugely impressive, they just dominated that possibly best-in-east team. Was that the game showed them what they could do without Kanter? He did not play that game.

It does bug me that he cannot facilitate more for our best scorer. Seems like he just ignores Hayward when they are both on the court. And can you learn to read a shot clock Trey? How hard is that? Can't you wait another 5-10 seconds to get a shot off?

Oh and all of this on 2 assists. If you think that he is the PG that this team needs... well... why? Why is Burks the PG that you believe in? What besides shooting 40% from the field and averaging barely any assists for a PG makes you think that he is anything but a chucker?

Hey guys. Remember the beginning of the year, when the Jazz had Kanter and Burke in the starting lineup and team defense was easily the biggest problem that the team had?

That team is gone, never to return. Snyder has this team buying into his defensive philosophy and if they continue to play like this, they're going to be a top 5 (or better) defense in the future. The offensive system will continue to grow as they develop better chemistry and guys like Gobert, Burks and Exum all continue to improve.

Thank God you didn't say anything positive about Burke. We almost mistook you for a Jazz fan ;)

haha I am a Jazz fan that's why I don't believe in Burke at all. A pg that refuses to pass and shoots a bad % from the field? Yeah I want my team to win, weird concept.
