Zach Lavine's rise to greatness

Stats nerds, lol. Do you even know what those stats measure?

Stats are one thing you can use for evidence in an argument.

Dear Hacl, What's your evidence?

Stupid question. I'm the one who asked you if you knew they were just an estimate on his impact. You didn't answer. So I'm assuming you have no idea what they measure or how they used.

Dear prisoner of the moment. My evidence will come very shortly. You sit tight.

LaVine stat projections?

That is what a stat projection would be. I applaud you for that difficult reading comprehension task.

Somewhere around 18/4/5 this year. Maybe more. Then will go up above 20 ppg in a year or two. He could average above 20 this year. Wouldn't surprise me. On good percentages too.

He's certainly a much better rebounder than 1 a game NAOS projects him to have. Also more assists.

Well that's a very vague question, but I think you mean, why do I believe jumping helps you in basketball.

I believe it does because it can put you closer to the hoop which often results in a higher percentage shot. It helps you not get your shot blocked. It helps you rebound. It helps you block shots.

Now, why do you feel it's not a useful skill?

Name me ten all time great players who couldn't or wouldn't use jumping as part of their game.

And now tell me why you believe bull ****.

John Stockton for starters. Need nine more?

Oh wow, yeah, that is definitely going to be wrong.

I would say 14-3-3 on 41% shooting and 35% from deep.

Why do people use stats like those to try and prove anything? You don't think that his teamates have something to do with those numbers? You do know that it's just an estimate of his impact right?

You mean guys like Shabazz Muhammad and Kevin Martin, two guys you drafted, because they're so ****ing good, for your current NBA players team?

Try another argument.

Wut?

Kevin Martin was the last starter I picked. I didn't have much to choose from. Why do you keep harping on him? I've never said he was great. I said he could fill a role and knock down some 3 pointers and he wasn't complete trash like you tried to say.

You are just looking for an argument.

And Shabazz is going to be a good player. Good enough to come off the bench for the team I built.

Stop being a tool. You aren't getting me with anything.

Arvydas Sabonis
Robert Parish
Bill Bradley
Bob Cousy
John Havlicek
Bill Sharman
Kevin McHale
Patrick Ewing
Moses Malone

Sorry Moses Malone and Patrick Ewing were athletic.

And how far do you have to reach down the list to find someone? Pretty far huh? Point proven.

Ewing was athletic for a year or two. Then, no. Simply no.

Yoo were like 8 when you watched him play anyway so your opinion here means nothing.

How far down? Almost all these guys are Hall of Famers dimwit.

8 points, 3 assist, 2 steals, 0 rebounds in 29 minutes. All on 2/11 shooting.

The Prophet didn't do so good either, 2-10 for 6 points, 1 rebound, and 1 assist.

Tough day for Hack's puppies.

I think LaVine can be good down the road, but to predict 18 ppg with 4 rebound and 5 assist is ridiculous. That might be his peak production if he reaches his potential 6 years from now.

Nice. Cherry pick one game? Should I post all the good games he had last year?
