Sanders starting to kick some HC... whatever

The problem isnt with Bernie, Hillary, Trump or Obama. The problem is us. We are all addicts of cheap products. We buy cheap, jobs go overseas for cheap labour,
and stuff doesnt last as long. We are always in a cycle of buying. We can buy proucts 24 hours a day at Wallmart or online! We want convience, we want bottle of the barrel prices, and we are paying for it. We want to run the world, but we dont accept the cost of OUR ideology. Did the Iraq war hurt the economy or help it? It probably didnt benefit most on this forum. We demonize each other round the clock on social media. We live in a world of hateful memes, tweets, and status updates. Every president is now Hitler to the other side. There is no middle ground. We cant rationally discuss anything about the 2nd amendment on a national level. College education bills cripple young adults before they even step out in their own shadow. We are way too polically correct or off the wall fantics. Where is the sanity?

In this election its hard to get excited. Trump cant live up to his promise of making america "great again". He will make himself and his companies greater. That is for sure. Hillary is a career politician bought out buy big money. Sanders has great ideas, and good intentions but will face a stone wall the likes of which we have never seen. Cruz? It would be like Fox News running the country. In other words nothing will change for the better. Not until WE the ****ing people Come Together will this nation be what it should be. United we stand.

**** you, pal!!!

I think I'm voting for Bernie over Hillary because I want absolutely no results over the next 4 years >rolls eyes<

I see this argument pop up periodically. Clearly we all have 20+ years of evidence to substantiate the idea that the GOP will treat Hillary fairly and give her ideas a real hearing in the public square.

I recommend you ALL do the same.

I have saved that particularly indignity for babe only and I don't like to devalue the power of a good ignore. ;)

great point.

Also, Bernie has a track record of working across the aisle

Why do you have babe on ignore? I can understand why someone would want to ignore Dalamon since he doesn't shy from confrontation. But babe? He's harmless, and it's always fun reading his stream of consciousness diatribes.

Fine. I'm voting for Hillary because I want to see nothing done over the next four years. Republicans holding all three seats has the power for royally screwing us. I'll take nothing over that.

Besides, Kick, there is a chance in the next election for a swing in power and I see Hillary as the better option of coming to the middle and having sensible people work together. Bernie is as grating as Obama.

Two thoughts:

1. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

2. Who would you describe as sensible in that lot? I can name mine: ....

I find his rants to always be comically misinformed and I can't stop myself from responding. Out of sheer self-preservation for my own sanity, I hide them from my view.

But Obama got quite a lot done the last eight years.

My beef with Hillary essentially comes down to that I believe she's essentially a superfund site of a candidate. Everything that goes within 10 feet of her is toxic by association. And I think it's almost all self-caused unforced errors. The whole family got witchhunted so many times that they're almost like abused dogs at this point. They can't react reasonably to standard threats because all they see is someone about to kick them. They are broken people with no hope of recovery.

Is that an unfair reason to doubt that I would trust her to run the country? Probably. I'll admit that I'm being unfair. But I wouldn't have voted for Paris Geller for Yale Daily News editor either. And no one is more competent than Paris Geller.

Do any of you guys watch veep? I can't stop thinking about it during this election cycle. It's exactly how i picture most of these campaigns behind the scenes.

Veep is a master class in comedy writing. And it sounds like half of Ted Cruz's staff is Jonah.

Saw the first ever bumper sticker I liked the other day: "Bern it up or Burn it down."

Kind of sums up my current feelings about our political establishment. I don't necessarily believe Sanders will be able to get anything through our lobbyist controlled government, but he gives me the vibe that he'll at least give it an honest effort.

I believe that he will at least work to remove the influence of lobbyists.

He got Hillary Care passed and fixed the investment tax issue. I don't see a whole lot after his two years.

That's exactly why I'm in her camp. Why would you give in to the Fox News crowd's hounding of her for two decades? They painted a bulls eye on her back, and, by your stance, they've won.

Yeah, she is guilty by association but what top politician isn't? IDGAF if they play the game. Voters aren't all that rational and it doesn't bother me one bit that the top players take dirty money to get to the top.
