I don't know. But did anyone else find this interesting? Is it Bell?

CJ (team option, not sure if that counts to Smith)
Raja Bell

I don't see it being any of the rookies. CJ is a team option so I'm not really sure if it'd be him. I really pray it's Raja.
 
Millsap seems to really be trying to become a leader of the team (reading books by other leaders, taking a more assertive role in the locker room etc.). AJ seems pissed and has mentioned multiple times that he was excited to come here with Sloan and Deron, but would he really ask for a trade? CJ is young and has a lot of support from Corbin. CJ also seems to be turning a corner in terms of mental strength and consistency. This seems like a pretty decent position for a young player like CJ (playing with a young core and has the potential to be a big piece of the team going forward).

I really think it's Raja. A "savvy vet" that doesn't have many years left, sees his role diminishing, doesn't seem to have a good relationship with the coach, constantly bitches at other players, and seems to be an image-concerned pro who has screwed up his relationship with the fan base here. Plus, he is the only one who constantly says negative things to the press after games this year. He's always ripping on the team's effort, etc. while others try to put off a more positive spin on things publicly.

Anyone else have any idea or insight?
 
Can rule out Favors, Hayward and Evans since "living up to expectations" doesn't make much sense. The context also doesn't make sense with Harris, since there really weren't any expectations. Not Memo, unless they're implying retirement. CJ doesn't have enough of a backbone for it to be him, nor would he be consistent enough to form such an opinion. Jefferson could fit with the season having expectations to live up to, but I'm not thinking it's him. Could be Millsap, but I doubt it. Bell fits because there certainly was an expectation (i.e. he'd get minutes as a starter for a team that was on the rise, hence him turning down a competitive LA team).
 
It sounds like Jefferson isn't talking to the media, and that sounds about right. Jefferson isn't the type of guy who will rush to a microphone.

Bell will be traded if possible. I think it's obvious. I would bet my pennies Miles team option gets picked up because...why not?

The rookies will be here, if they are not I'll be furious.

Millsap and Jefferson could very well be traded, but I think only Raja will be pushed out the door.
 
likely Raja. We can only hope.

I hope Al is on his way out, too. Trade him to Indy; he'll be happy because that team will rock with him alongside Hibbert; we'll be happy because we can probably get George.
 
Let's package him with one of our picks and move down, like we did with Amaechi.
 
Bell is tradeable. Second round pick, maybe, but tradeable. Small contract, and fits well into a system. Look at what Boston and some other contenders have on the back of their bench. Bell would fit in well in places like that.

I do imagine it's Bell, though. I don't think he'd harbor any ill well toward the Jazz organization for this past year, despite the opposite feeling the fans have.
