What's new

Following potential 2017 draftees...

Anyone here want to see a 7'4" PF next to Rudy eventually? I like that idea. If he's 7'2" without shoes that means he could easily be listed at 7'4".

I certainly wouldn't complain if they use the Warriors pick on Jeanne. He can shoot and he's very mobile for that size.

The C on his team Yousaphha Fall is 7'3" If you're wondering why he's not towering over everyone

This clip is from September and you can kinda see he's put on SOME weight.

Right now for an U21 team thru 7 games, he's putting up 14.3ppg 10.3 rebs 1.6 asts 4.1 blks, .7 stls in 28 minutes of play. 44% from the field 24% from 3, 56% from the stripe.

Apparently there's 35 reps from 22 NBA teams watching Hamidou Diallo at the National Prep Showcase today.. He's reportedly going to be eligible for this draft.

I'd imagine the Jazz are there...

Another under the radar guy I like who could potentially come out this year is Yante Maten out of Georgia. I caught a few games of him last year and thought he looked like a NBA player, could be a small-ball 4. He has come out strong this year.

Markelle Fultz dropped 35 and 6 assists in his 2nd game, check out this video ad the drive at 4:00! he's hitting his 3's and shooting almost 70% from the field so far..

Safe to say he's got a chance to run away with being the #1 pick.. He's gonna turn the lottery into the Markelle Fultz sweepstakes.

Jalen Brunson(6'1") just threw down a dunk on John Collins(6'10")!!

Villanova doesn't have bigs though, they have a single big named Jalen Reynolds and a bunch of 6'6" wings.

Josh Hart with a career high 30pts. He's much more of an impressive Sr. to me, then Brogdon was for Virginia last year. He truly seems NBA ready, plays with great patience.. Nova is certainly dangerous.

Xavier' gonna beat Clemson with a quiet game from Edmond Sumner. Maybe his confidence in his shot is a bit shaken right now..

Not a good showing from Blossomgame either. I'm not buying the 1st rd hype.

Brock Motum is one of the reasons Isaiah Hartenstein doesn't get more minutes. Here's highlights from his career high 12pt game.

If they plan to move on from Favors he's a real good fit for the offense IMO and projects to provide much more resistance at the rim than Lyles. They'd make a good PF platoon.

@EvanDaniels
Austin Nichols has been dismissed from Virginia's men's basketball team, per a release. Was suspended for the first 3 games of the season.

Miles Bridges is going off again 13pts in the 1st half on 6/7 shooting.

NC State was struggling a bit with Montana. Decent stats for Dennis Smith.

D'Angelo Russell co-signs Fultz.

@Dloading
@MarkelleF is a problem! Best freshman hands down.

What happened to alpha kaba? I was a big fan a year or 2 ago when ever he last declared then pulled out.

Sent from my SM-N910V using JazzFanz mobile app

Kaba was shooting it well from 3 earlier this month and with his 7'5" ws, it looked like he was a good candidate to fly up draft boards but his 3pt shooting has pulled back some, back to the high 20's. He's put on some good weight and is putting up solid #'s.

He's still a mid-2nd rd pick with a chance to hit the fringe 1st in my book. He could also pull out of this draft and he'd be auto-eligible next year..

6'10" Jr. D.J. Wilson on Michigan generated some draft buzz last night. I was watching the game he's got an impressive build/coordination for a player that size.

6'3" freshman PG Tony Carr at Penn State is an under the radar 4-star player. 16ppg 4.3reb, 4.3apg, 2.3 to's on 44% from 3, he's made 2 3's in 4 consecutive starts to his college career. He's been their best player.

20pts 6rebs 3ast vs Duke yesterday in a 10-pt loss.

UVA is more prepared to deal with the loss of Austin Nichols than many would lead you to believe. RS Freshman Mamadi Diakite is a player to watch 6'9" long athletic shotblocker with 4 blocks off the bench today.
