Milos Teodosic interested in the Jazz

No expert -on Teodosic, so a few random points:

- intrigued by idea/price

- won't expect more than a moderate upgrade to Mack or an adequate stop-gap measure while Exum continues to develop if unable to re-sign Hill

- Jazz defense likely to take a hit, even if his offensive skills are able to compensate

- Teodosic almost exactly (just) one year younger than Hill

- Teo's assist numbers are at career high this year, but shooting hasn't been up to previous years' standards, in fact quite pedestrian -- no guarantee he's a lights out shooter (which is one of the appealing possibilities to contemplate) -- and he's never been someone to create FTs for himself

- very few "best player outside the NBA," which is what NBA gms named him recently, ever make a huge splash in the NBA. The most impactful from Europe almost always are those who are identified/come over young

- even meeting expectations to be a competent rotation piece is never automatic for players from Europe -- some manage and some don't -- it seems to have more to do with having enough broad skills and being able to fit in to a new role than high production in Europe/international ball (thus Ingles has succeeded where few expected much based on Euro stats). From what I've (maybe wrongly) heard about Teo (knows he's a star in Europe, has a certain cockiness, not known for great effort/work ethic), I'm not sure he has this in him. So I'd have a degree of wariness along with optimism if the rumor pans out.

. Exum should be our priority as far as developoling not signing some old over seas guy. I don't see a role for him on this team.

lol, Exum right now is miles behind Teodosic. But yeah, lets keep developing him. We have a saying in our country - you can't squeeze cottage cheese out of ****. I am afraid Exum will never be starting quality PG on NBA team. He may turn into decent backup defensive guard, that's it.

Some of u talk as if this guy is going to be a star if andwhen he comes over. Think the breaks need to be pumped a bit. We've seen stud European players come over and wash out, and sounds like he doesn't have much prime years left if any. How about we resign a sure thing in Ingles who now seems to be an elite 3pt shooter. Exum should be our priority as far as developoling not signing some old over seas guy. I don't see a role for him on this team.

Would've been awesome if we could have had this this season

Hill/Exum/Teo
Hood/Burks/Teo
Hayward/JJ/Ingles
Favors/Lyles/Diaw
Gobert/Withey/Bolomboy

Or just take out teo.
Would have been nice to have had this this season.

Hill/Exum/Mack
Hood/Burks/Exum
Hayward/JJ/Ingles
Favors/Lyles/Diaw
Gobert/Withey/Bolomboy

****ing injuries

That pass at the very end, freaking crazy. I've always wanted to try that.

But if Exum gets stronger and becomes the defensive stopper we are hoping for, he could be very effective for certain situations -- so long as we have a good defender at the other guard position to defend the go-to guard on the other team. Or just situations where we need points in a hurry or to change momentum.
