They're completely different players, dude. It took Dunleavy 7 years (after 3 years of college) to average more than 3.0 APG (he hit 3.5)-- Hayward hit 3.1 in his sophomore season, and he's on track for 4-5 this season.
Hayward is much more of a Manu (career 15/4/4 player) than Dunleavy, if we're trying to find non-black Hayward comparisons. Hayward needs to keep working on his at-the-rim finishing, and his handle in order to get to Manu's level though. Keep in mind, Manu was 26 when he came into the NBA.
He's going to be better than Pistol.
I predict he's basically a mix of Stockton, Dirk, Pistol, Larry, and Kyle Korver.
At times he reminds me of a healthy brandon roy, but with a better 3pt shot.I think Gordon is closer to Grant Hill before he was injured, though probably stronger (now) but not as athletic.
