Following potential 2017 draftees...

Did De'Aaron Fox have any issues with injuries in the past? He comes across like a really smart kid.

Think Cy mentioned this guy earlier on -- Rodions Kurucs should be on our short list at #24.

He's like a 6'8" version of Dario Saric. He can do just about everything--create at the top of the circle, make drives and finish, and shoot with a quick release. He's also quicker and more athletic than Saric (who now plays at the 4 usually), and he can get above the rim pretty easily. If he shoots well in workouts, teams will fall in love.

Extremely doubtful he's on the board. He's also longer than Saric. I say he's a pure 3. His game is more based on finesse too. Really nice prospect tho.

But I won't be surprised if he is gone by the Jazz first 2nd round pick. The only PF with legitimate nba handle in the draft.

This is not even remotely close to true. Some teams will look at Leaf and think of putting him at PF and his handle is definitely better. I'd also say Giles has a better handle, Hartenstein, Jonathn Isaac when at PF, and and OBVIOUSLY Lauri and DJ Wilson...

Also Cameron Oliver doesn;t have a better handle but theres no way I'm putting Kuzma higher than him on my board.

ncoloradojazz where you at, I've got a serving of crow for ya. Derrick White is now projected #39 by DX.. I spotted it pretty much right away.. Shame on you for hating on this kid with this legendary story.

I'm starting to think Bolden may be the guy we need at #30...if he's even available. He's probably going to rise in workouts.

Get a guard or wing like Jackson/Diallo/Kurucs/Mitchell at #24, then Bolden at #30. Draft a back-up 5 like Motley or Bryant at #42.

That's a nice haul.

Nah, that'd be a reach (unless he does blow up at workouts) like I said before he's like Christian Wood, who could really fool ya if u watch him in the right setting. Not a 1st rd talent. He's got real upside tho. would be very nice value in the 2nd..

there's no doubt bigs are going to be falling in this draft.. they're getting in early because next years bigs are sooooo top-heavy..

Kennard isn't slow with the ball in his hands, he uses misdirection masterfully, he's got a ton of tricks up his sleeve(it's EXTREMELY unlikely Hornacek was anywhere close to as POLISHED as him going into the NBA) and also don;t discount that he's a lefty, he gets to his spots. This is pretty much why it'd have been asinine for him to return..

Just look at a player like Ron Baker on the Knicks, he was starting for them, became a crowd favorite. Cool Hand Luke is a vastly superior prospect.

Luke has very real "scoring instincts" one could argue they're pretty much top of the charts.

I'm skeptical that this years Ingles could shut down prime Kennard (in a few years) the way that he did JJ, there'd be the awkwardness of the lefty on lefty matchup tho, which would work int he favor of Luuke.

Little birdie (not PKM) told me Hamidou Diallo will be staying in the draft, and he's not all that concerned about if he lands in the first or 2nd..

Perhaps I'll find the video later but I would post the one where he viciously blocks Josh Jackson in HS if I could. I posted that Video here the second I saw it.

NBADRAFT finally updated their mock. They have us taking Motley, Iwundu, Monte Morris & Frank Mason.

Motley in the 1st round? Mmm, no. They're saying we'd pass on OG, Kurucs and Mitchell for Motley.

FWIW, they also have Hartenstein going undrafted, so...

I think Motley is going to have a hard time getting into the 1st round. He wont be able to do many workouts or participate in the combine due to his injury.
