What's new

Following potential 2017 draftees...

Basically everyone has withdrawn who isnt auto-eligible besides Slavica.

I like his highlights. I also remembered him vaguely from his last FIBA Euro championship. he won't be the worst of picks. He probably will want to come over though, since he terminated his contract in Europe for unpaid salaries.

I'm gonna throw out something just to see what you guys think - Dave Joerger is Sacramento's coach. Just how much do you think he will be willing to pay for Rodney Hood? No. 10? Or should we hold out for no. 5?

We might be able to get 10 but it depends on if they have any other deals set up. I could see them packaging 5 and 10 to move up.

PJ Dozier got hot and it was interesting you could tell when he was thinking about his shot and when he shot in rhythm. His shot does remind me of exum.

My boy Semi was on fire

Motley was tired and you could tell.

Thornwell was not impressive either

Lol. I can't believe all the people that are sold on Semi . Not a nba player

Yeah he is. He needs to work on his defense, rebounding and ball handling, but he can play. He may not be an elite defender or a star, but he'll be a rotation player mostly on the wing. He'll probably get picked between 26 and 30. He'll put in the work to improve his lateral quickness and defend.

I actually think he has the potential to be an elite defender

The more I watch tape and dig into stats the more Semi Ojeleye stands out. I looked into the offensive and defensive ratings of every college prospect in the DX top 100. He ranked 2nd in offensive rating. Only player higher was Markkanen.

-Tested extremely well athletically at the Combine putting up better athletic numbers than some guards at over 240 pounds.
-Raved about by scouts for having a great work ethic.
-Well spoken, went to Duke so you know he's a smart kid.
-Was highly recruited.
-Efficient on the basketball court. Shoots it well from 2 and 3, gets to the line a ton, rebounds the ball, plays with effort.
-His versatility is huge in today's nba
-His advanced stats stand out.

I think he could be the steal of the draft. Things like lateral movement on defense, learning isolation moves, tightening ball handling, and decision making can be improved through hard work.
