Chris Paul to the Rockets - Beverly is off the table

How much do the Spurs have to throw at Hill? I don't think this is good news from the perspective of brining him back.

The problem is I think they did this deal to appease Griffin so he would stay.

Yep, from what I remember hearing Chris Paul is a cantankerous little pout that rubs others the wrong way.

Two days ago LeBron leaked that he would NEVER join the Clippers, which was a possibility while they were holding Chris Paul. It left Clippers little choice. I think this means they commit to Blake.

Confirms Griffin is gone. Boston is on his list. Fingers crossed they like Blake over Hayward.

Yep. Griffin seems like a great fit for the Celtics to be honest. I'm 70/30 convinced Hayward stays in Utah regardless of what anyone else does.

With that said. . . I sure wouldn't mind if the Jazz went out and got PG13 to help solidify their starting lineup. Even as a potential rental, I think it's worth the risk. I think that it's going to be an odd offseason. I just hope the Jazz make bold decisions and come out on top when it's over. Last year was great. This year has been solid so far.

Aside from Utah and Spurs what other possible options are there?

Philly and Houston just dried up.

Philly was never really an option, also I'm sure HOU preferred Bev to Hill.

Our main competition for George has always been SAS, just like Hayward's main suitor other than us is BOS.

My hope was that San Antonio would get CP3 so we could get GHill for cheap, but that doesn't look like it's happening.

Jrue doesn't make as much sense for the Spurs as Hill does. That's who I predict they go for.

Paul opted in. He isn't getting a supermax until next year, I guess. He could leave Houston next year if he wants.

It doesn't work at his current numbers... Albert Nahamad... noted cap nerd has he same question I ain't crazy.
