I mean, how could so many question that talent? He is the best player on our team and it's not even close. To a few it was obvious but many questioned him.

Same genius who said Embiid could average 15 points if healthy

Nailed Wiggins, Randle, Gordon and Exum part. Pretty spot on Smart and Payton. Give him some props.
Life must be interesting living in a world of such radical extremes. Since when does taking a carefully reasoned approach to evaluating a young player equal some kind of pessimistic doubting of his capabilities?
Furthermore, why the hell would you want to suggest he isn't still mostly potential? I certainly love the idea that he is going to get a lot better...
For the record, I'm choosing to allow myself some unfettered optimism and hope he really is some kind of generational superstar - it's fun - but it's also crazy to say that he's already far and away the best player on this team.
He didnt nail anything on Exum. The guy has had two season injuries. Please stfu about Exum. I'm not a huge fan of him either, but making any declarations on him, like you so often do, is beyond stupid.
Not making many declarations about him since draft... Mostly responding to Exum homers who trying to compare him to Mitchell as equal. But if you suggest ignoring them, fine. There are plenty of others to remind them how delusional they are.
You are both equally as annoying.
God forbid some people wanting to see him play an actual NBA game before declaring him "DWade with Defense".
Donovan had 25 pts. Was 4-4 FT. He had 2 steals. 2 blocks. 0 turnovers. 3-7 3pt. 3 REB. 4 fouls...some smart fouls.
He would have had some assists too if the shots were falling. And he did all of this in 31 minutes. He belongs on the above list.
But again, his stats only tell part of the story. His defense has been phenomenal. He altered/denied a bunch of shots last night. Yeah he had a few hiccups, but he has provided a spark on both ends every time he has hit the floor.
Putting Simmons aside who will be rookie of the year at a canter. Where does Mitchell rank in his rookie class? (granted its only 9 games in and this is probably a question that should wait a month or two)
Mitchell will hit the rookie wall. Starting him will wear him down sooner. Give the guy a break.
I think the list is just for the very first game of a rookie's season.
