So when the backup PG outplays the starting PG in the first half that means the HC should play the backup PG more minutes than the starter in the 2nd half?

Oh wow. I seem to remember Exum outplaying Rubio in the 1st half of the game in Portland then Rubio coming out in the 2nd half and carrying the team. It's kind of like no one can have complete foresight with these things and you usually just go with the players you trust most and have proven themselves over the entire season, not just the sample size of that 1st half.

And this is how you get out coached. Rubio didn't even deserve to wear the Utah jersey today, Disgusting. I'm done with you.

Do you watch basketball games played by the Utah Jazz?
Yes and I understand why Minnesota moved on from him. He can't shoot, he can't throw a lob, he makes some terrible rookie mistakes, and often times can't even facilitate. Teams have no respect for him so the offense is playing 5 on 4. Teams dare a starting PG to shoot, in today's NBA that's laughable. And he has an uncanny ability to NOT get to the FT line.

If Exum plays like he did tonight in his role for a full month, then we can start having a conversation about him siphoning minutes off Rubio (or someone else), but until then, holy ****.

I’m not sure why we can’t just celebrate Dante’s good game. He’s played well of late and it’s really encouraging... let’s let it simmer before we think he needs more... it might be the worst thing for him. Let him build on the success.

Kanter drew(or should have) a sick charge on Giannis tonight. Kanter is getting huge.

The Voice of Reason, everybody.

This is the exact type of defense that Ricky struggles against... they also shot really well. If they are a little off or we are hot we win... it’s a make or miss league.

You don't mean the play where he hit Giannis in the face with his forearm and his body was moving and Giannis didn't get the call and then Kanter got in Giannis' face for some reason, do you?

By the way, holy **** Giannis would absolutely destroy Kanter if it came down to it.

Embid can trash Rudy on social media after this game, he's outplayed him in every facet of the game since the first quarter. Rudy doesn't seem to have much passion tonight.

True. He destroyed Gobert tonight. Embiid is a massive piece of crap though. No way I could ever root for the guy. He acts like an annoying child.

I don't catch that many games, but I sometimes wonder if some people here actually watch basketball.

Some don’t watch but it’s also seeing what you want to... Ricky has some serious limitations...Dante has many more limitations and doesn’t have the other stuff to make up for it. He’s played well lately... that’s great... maybe he’s the answer... but AB has some stretches you’d swear he’s a damn all star... and then it goes to crap.

Whoever his shooting coach is needs a bonus and he needs to work with DM and Favs too.

He didn't hit him in the face, watch it again. And I only watched the replay once, but it was a manly defensive play. And did you see the cut open by Kanter's eye? And Kanter is way beefier than Giannis if that's what you meant.

Mitchell is 7-15 yall are acting like he's 5-30. One of his shots was a half court heave too.

That's not my issue with him, and he did play well in garbage time. The problem is he tries to force way too much and ends up looking out of control and unaware of his surroundings.

He’s got this tunnel vision thing most of the time that's really hurting him.

edit: he did look stable and in control of himself in the 4th quarter. It was nice to see.
