Are you sure Royce should be picking up anybody’s minutes? I get that his selling point isn’t production, but he produces like a G-League call-up and it’s a problem.

He’d be good as a 4. He isn’t fast enough to guard wings all the time and isn’t allowed to grab and hold. As a switchy four he’s solid... if he’s the third perimeter guy it’s not great... and no I’m not sure he deserves to pick up more minutes.

Okay, can we have a 29-6 stretch again? Even 25-10 puts us close to where we should be. That seems doable especially remembering that Rubio has historically been much better the 2nd half of a season.
I like the optimism.
I'm there with ya

With all due respect to Rudy, Embiid is the best center in the world and it isn’t close.
My point exactly. The 76ers have a chance against anyone as long as they have embiid

lol wut? You heard about this A.Davis guy right?

here are some stats if you like to check, but I can give you a hint, Embiid beats him in rebounds only. PTS, FG, 3pt%, FT%, STl, AST, BLK is all Davis, plus Embiid has 1.2 more turnovers. Not even close eh?

AD is this generations Tim Duncan where even though he almost exclusively plays C a lot of people consider him a PF for one reason or another.

LOL. No they don't. They are highly flawed and have no chance in playoff series vs Raptors and Celtics and I doubt they can beat Indiana either.
I think they can. Embiid could really dominate all those teams

My brother who doesn't watch the NBA said "those two refs must be from Philly". People in my section were furious, throwing F bombs and generally just freaking out. I actually have a sore throat today from yelling at the refs and Embiid.
Yep
Refs are human but that was terrible. Seemed like every time we closed the gap there was a bad call or non call to stem the tide. Worst example was an in bounds play after a Jazz mini run. I think it was Shamet ran a play like a pulling guard in football and took out two Jazz defenders to give Jimmy B a lob slam dunk. I was in the upper bowl and it was obvious how can a team of refs on the court miss that kind of thing? Smh. I try to be objective but sometimes I have admit I think the refs are biased.

Agree to disagree.
I think they would be the underdogs against Toronto but I think they would have a chance

What about Robert Covington as our stretch 4? I'm trying to look at players who maybe have primarily been 3's but as they age, could evolve more into 4's, and given his size, I feel like he could. He's still just 28 years old, has three years left on his deal at about 12M per which isn't bad.

I like him but I doubt Minnesota will trade him.

Sure.

But you do realize that they basically traded Butler for him right? They value him enormously. You are far more likley for them to want to dump Wiggins on you
