Does anyone know the official diagnosis? That tight hamstring is taking a long time loosening up.
Overpaying for a one/two season rental of PG who is constantly injuries. Seen that episode before.
DL is definitely underrated in his “consistency” as a GM
You can use that excuse if it only happens once or twice but it has happened three times in a row. GM work is sorta looking into the future and make predictions based on their best judgement. And DL has been disappointing in solving our PG situation with his shortsightedness and poor judgementGreat point. It is simply inexcusable that DL cant see into the future. Fire him.
ummmmm........not quickly lol. He pops his hamstring and that recovery time is gong to be forever.Hamstrings heal even torn ones, torn achilles are devastating because of the scarcity of blood flow to it.
I agree, it's like just tell us. Them being so secretive at times just breeds speculation and they try to not let everything out. I truly don't get it, there's no reason to not just let fans know if something is a bigger issue.Jazz are notorious for not giving people the full diagnosis. Which kind of sucks because it fuels an idea within some fans that certain players are soft. My guess is that this "tight hamstring" is actually hamstring strain. If that's the case he was likely to be out for at least a few weeks as soon as the injury happened. But they say "hamstring tightness" and make people think it's a game time decision every night smh.
It's like Donovans toe/foot injury. They would never say what was actually wrong and he ends up being in a boot most the summer, later you find out he had a metal plate installed in his game shoes leading into the next season and they didn't let him play basketball almost the entire offseason. Just be up front about injuries playing them down or not just saying what the actual severity of it is is just dumb.Jazz are notorious for not giving people the full diagnosis. Neto too? We’ve had the same thing with Ricky the last couple years and it lingered all season... hopefully they are being really cautious and just making sure he’s 100% prior to bringing him back. Hamstrings are kinda important.
so... not ded
My guess is they’re being super precautious about it especially with the competition the Jazz are playing right now. Hamstring are nothing to **** with. If he popped it count the entire rest of his tenure as permanently out with injury. It’s great they are precautious with it. If your not it’s like Rodney Hood saying before the game his achilles was bothering him, playing, then popping it in that very game. Mike can sit until he’s 100%. The Jazz have enough talent they should win most of their upcoming games without him. You need him long term. Risking something short term that will have long term implications is beyond stupid.
