Are any of you guys full-time traders?
My wife did it for a little while. Funny (or sad) thing is, a few months ago she was trying to teach our 10 year old about it and told him to think of companies, he suggested Game Stop. She talked him out of it.Are any of you guys full-time traders?
Honestly, without this freak happenstance movement, Game Stop was at that point where they turn the life support off. The business model doesn't make sense anymore. I don't need to go to a physical location so that I can buy a digital copy of a game.My wife did it for a little while. But I love this double reverse takedown thing that is going on. Don't hate the players, hate the game. Suck it short selling POS MFers. Nobody ever liked any of you.
Short sellers are like a dude getting all smug at the craps table playing Don't Pass all night when all the rollers are struggling.
You saved him... imagine that little **** buys 100 shares at 2.50... he’d have 30k and walk around like yo *** on payroll. Think that kid ever think he has to work? Nah he’s a trader... plus he’d chase that high his whole life. Your wife saved him from a life as a homeless meth head.My wife did it for a little while. Who of us wouldn’t want to stroll through a blockbuster today? This is true. There’s always going to be an appetite where some people don’t want just a digital copy and prefer the disc. This is because they’re purists or like to play the game and sell it on eBay to recoup some money. Gamestop will pay you pennies on the dollar for it and most people are capable of selling it themselves to get a higher net profit.
Some of us also prefer not having to rely on the internet being active in order to play. This is true. I only buy physical copies and never digital for my switch.Honestly, without this freak happenstance movement, Game Stop was at that point where they turn the life support off. I actually would still like that. I enjoyed the experience and reading the back of the case.Who of us wouldn’t want to stroll through a blockbuster today?
Look even the rabbit holes you’d go down when you found out they were out of new releases because it’s after 4 pm on a Friday nimrod. You’d pick something else up... just browsing the store looking for a movie was great.I actually would still like that. I enjoyed the experience and reading the back of the case.

I’m hoping the infused interest and capital will help them pivot and actually save the business... would be a good story.I only buy physical copies and never digital for my switch.
Your point remains though. I don't need to go to a physical location when I can simply go to Amazon.com

They should pivot to be like those places in Walmart where kids go play... sell cases and other collectibles to go with digital copies. Host local tournaments... be like a tween bowling alley or some ****.I would also suggest that a lot of people like the physical copies because they like to display cases as trophies/to highlight their collection even if they don't play the game. They're collectors after all.
They do all those things. It's how they survive. That and scamming customers on trade in deals and getting them to buy stuff they dont need. They should pivot to be like those places in Walmart where kids go play... sell cases and other collectibles to go with digital copies. I’m not a gamer but they can’t stay with the same plan.
Paper handsI’m mostly out... sold enough on amc and gme that I’m in them for free with some small holdings. The squeeze will take too long and these mother ****ers are just cheating anyway.
