What's new

Neither do Royce, Ingles or Niang.
I don't know, when Ingles gets that chest high pass, his no cockback return for 3 is one of the most beautiful things in basketball right now. I think he does the slow release sometimes as a way to taunt his defender. Niang's trigger is pretty decent too, even though he's no Clarkson.

"In motion" though. some of them may be able to release their shots fairly quickly but they have to catch the ball in a certain way, mostly from a standstill position facing the basket just so they don't have to spend time squaring their body before shooting.

i'm talking about guys who can catch the ball from any position at any given speed, then immediately come to a halt, square their body to the proper shooting motion and release the shot.

Shooters like Bojan, Niang and Ingles are already in the proper receiving position and ready to shoot before even catching the ball, which makes it predictable for the opponents because we always run same set of plays to get them open.

Guys like Redick, Korver, Klay and hopefully Thomas in the future, on the other hand, often times are running at a high speed right before catching the ball, which adds the unpredictability to the play and the opponent have to stick to them at all times to make sure they don't get to shoot.

They don't rely on certain set of plays to get open. In a way, their mere presence on the floor adds an unique set of play to your offense that help other guys get open.

It’s time to call Ekpe.
I just watched him play a live game the other day. He was obviously physically dominating, but I was surprised the number of offensive moves he had.

That said, he still has 0 interest in coming back to the NBA as a 3rd string guy and definitely not for a min contract.

Nah, more people are beating up on Bogey. Clarkson hasnt got much grief lately, most people are just saying they hope his shooting comes back and he has been off, which is true. He will get back to normal though and I am not worried about it. I am not worried about Bogey either. His 3 point shooting is still good and coming back after a slump. He is starting to show more promise in other parts of his game. I think come playoffs we will run less experimental stuff with him and stick to his strengths. Clarkson has been the better player this year although Bogey is still the better 3 point shooter by a decent amount. But last year Bogey was really good. I think most people think he can get back to that or close. Neither are good defenders but Clarkson has been a little better this year. Even this year they are not far off from each other and Bogey has been trying to find his rhythm and recover. The amount of grief you give him and say he is cooked after he just had the best season of his career last year is silly though.

We need both of them to be at their best come playoffs. We have seen them both at a really high level and hope they both are for the playoffs.

Most of you whip Clarkson but let bogey off Scotch free, that's funny , really funny.
Bogie is the starter Clarkson isn’t.
Clarkson has shot remarkably well this entire year bogie hasn’t.
We have replacements for Clarkson while there really isn’t a replacement for Bogie. We desperately need him to play well.
I mean do you need more reasons? An onion and an apple are both two things but they’re definitely not the same.
