Since our strategy is “lol Suns hard schedule lol our schedule EZ,” then I figure I’ll go ahead and get this kicked off where we can discuss all things PHX.

And if Donovan is out another week, then he should miss our last game with Phoenix on Friday.

If you haven’t watched much PHX bball, then let me inform you that they are really good. And that their strengths play right into our weaknesses. It would be very comforting to have home court advantage in any potential series against them.

maybe I’ll break down my thoughts a bit more + give specific examples later on.

Suns are 2-2 in their last 4 games including a blowout loss by 30 something to the spurs.

Paul still hasn't had his annual hammy issue. I'm still waiting on that and severely disappointed in myself thinking that may be what it takes for us to hold onto the #1 spot.

Nets up 15 with 3 minutes to play. Safe to say that we were just gifted our half game back that we gave away last night.

And we have the tie breaker with LAC. So we really have a 3 game lead.

I guess one question is if Dallas can make-up the 1.5 game lead the Lakers have on then. A cursory glance at the Mavericks’ remaining schedule looks a bit more favorable than the Lakers’.

If the Nets get healthy, no one is going to beat them. Griffin still has some game. Imagine this lineup: Harden, Kyrie, KD, Griffin, and DJordan. No one will beat them if they are healthy. Like the Lakers when Malone played for them. The only thing that beat them was when Malone got injured and was ineffective in the finals (or maybe didn't even play, not sure -- but he held down Duncan in the WC finals before getting injured). Injuries will be the only thing to stop them.
