NON-JAZZ NBA PLAYOFF thread

If the Clippers do beat the Mavs, I'm hoping it's in a very brutal, drawn out seven-game series. Ideally, the Jazz, hopefully at least, can take care of the Grizzlies in four or five, which will give them some rest heading into the second round.

I do feel confident in Utah taking the Clippers, tho, in a seven game series. The one thing I'll give Dallas over LAC is that they're much better coached and that can pay off in the playoffs.

Hate to burst everyone's bubble but my bet is the clippers win in 5. Might sweep. The talent level and ability isn't close. The mavs have 1, maybe 1 1/2 guys in the upper echelon. Luka should be worth one win. Might eke out a close second. Although I'd love nothing more than to see the top teams knocked off one at a time.

me too. I think the clippers after last years failure are out for blood, and I think that they come out and destroy the mavs.

I just don't think the Clippers are built like that, which is why people are tentative on them.

I definitely think the Clippers win, and it would not surprise me if it's 4-1. But I also think there's just enough uncertainty with all that talent that I could absolutely see this series going seven. Throw in coaching, where I think the advantage is pretty strongly in Dallas' favor, and it could be a very interesting series.

The 10-second call on the Giannis free throw was lame. How many times is that called in the regular season (ever?) and you call it in the closing seconds of a close playoff game?
