2021 NBA Draft Preview (new thread)

Who is this player? I think Grimes is likely to be there so I'm guessing its a guy that might be slipping a little. My wild guess is Springer. The more I hear the more I get confused on why he seems to be sliding a bit.

Springer should be a lottery pick, I don't know why he's sliding either...maybe a bad interview? His numbers are outstanding. I keep seeing him tagged as a younger prospect that will take time, but he was very productive as a Freshman.

Kai Jones is at 23 and 29. Is one supposed to be Keon Johnson?

Knicks out: 19/21

Pacers out: 13
Pacers in: 19/21

That would make sense if OKC wants to flip Favors for a profit at the trade deadline. Something they're good at. They just did it with George Hill and Al Horford.

OKC has 6 picks in this draft. They're likely to move 2 or 3 of them.

Knicks don't want 2022 money. I would go with:

Knicks get #13 and Lamb
Jazz get Holiday, #19, #21 and #36
Pacers get Bojan and #30

#36 gets traded to Charlotte with Favors for cash ($1).

You cut OKC out but kept they pick

Hmm... Jalen Johnson is a steal outside the top 15, imo. He just comes off as a bit of a prick, and his early departure from Duke is rubbing some people the wrong way.

Interesting that Knicks are rumored to be interested in Terrence Ross. Likely means they are also interested in Clarkson. Wonder if the Jazz are waiting on a Jalen Johnson to fall to the Knicks to pull the trigger on trading JC to the Knicks?

If we keep our pick, which I doubt, I think we have to take JT. He is exactly what we have lacked on this team: youth, size, length, athleticism, defense, potential...

You think a guy that quits on Duke is coming here? Is it just so Quin can make him run liners all day every day.
