Our pick last year still eats at me... DL tried to be the smartest guy in the room with his "Dok was #2 in our analytics model" BS. Dude shot like 40% from the line... smh McDaniels was a giant skilled wing and right there! At least Dok has really good measurables but dammit...

Brantley is a versatile defender. He's not really effective when he tries to do much more than that. He needs to focus on 3D and stop acting like he's Magic Johnson.

Forrest is the only keeper here. Maybe Doke. But it sounds like DL was the only one that liked Doke.

I'm not going to give up on Hughes after one chaotic summer league game. He needs to operate on a spaced floor.

I definitely agree we need to keep Forrest he looks amazing but I'm gonna give Hughes a couple more games to prove himself

I'm ready to just about give up on Brantley as an on-ball creator. Have him defend, rebound and hand the ball off.
Trent Forrest might be better than Jared Butler
It's really hard to command a SL Team as effortlessly as Forrest does. Does that dude ever make the wrong play? Maybe he forces too many lob attempts, but the dude is so high IQ.
He has no in-between game. He has to play off advantage. His problem is he doesnt have 2nd move athletic ability. He has some good quick moves to get to the rim, but then he has nothing left to get on the rim.
Forrest looks for sure NBA player.
Same with Udoka. He seems a bit out of shape though. Him and Forrest have great chemistry.
Hughes looked rough. I think his D was good though (at least what I remember focusing on). Hopefully his bad offensive game was just nerves.

Mooney actually looked really good. Had some quick moves and was super smooth with the ball.
Jazz got a good SL team though. A lot of them seem like they could play.

Dok can rebound at an NBA level. He's also a deterrent at the rim. Guys alter shots when he's in the paint. I didn't see him do much on rolls though he got a few impromptu dunks.
